VISITING Zambia and Flying Over the World's Largest Waterfall | Travel Vlog

Zambia is one of the most tourist friendly countries to travel to in Africa. And with Victoria Falls being located on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, there are so many things to do. In this video, I visit Livingstone Zambia and visit the world famous waterfall. And then I fly over the waterfall in a microlight (kinda like a flying go-cart). If you're looking for nature and adventure in Africa, Livingstone should be at the top of your list.

VLOG: Solo Road trip from Lusaka to Monze Southern Province of Zambia. #HighvieHamududu'sMotherland

Monze is a small town (population 30,000) in the Southern Province of Zambia and is about 180 km south-west of Lusaka. It is the administrative centre of Monze District.[1]

The town is named after Chief Monze, widely acknowledged as the spiritual leader of the Tonga people who inhabit the district. His palace is south of the town near a place called Gonde where a ceremony called Lwiindi takes place. This annual festival is a thanksgiving ceremony which attracts many people from around the country.

Monze is a rapidly urbanising town with growth extending along the railway lines and T1 highway. The town is divided into neighbourhoods known locally as ‘compounds’. There is a substantial open-air market in Monze and a small but growing range of agri-dealerships, shops, bars and restaurants.

The main industry in the district is agriculture, with maize being the most important crop. At one point in the past, the district used to produce more than 25% of the maize crop in Zambia. It was popularly known as the 'home of Zambia's granary'. Although its status as the leading maize producer has declined over the years, the most prominent feature in the town is still the Swedish built grain silos to the north of the town. Although these have been disused for a number of years. As with much of Southern Province, Monze has struggled with drought in recent years - crippling the agrarian economy and leading to significant food price increases.

The town has a significant Seventh Day Adventist presence, although many other Christian denominations are represented. There is also a very small but growing Islamic minority in the town.

Local Tourism sites of significance include: The Mooring Campsite, Family Safari (off the T1), the beautiful Magoye reservoir, and the derelict remnants of Fort Monze.

Victoria Falls Zambia - An Awe Inspiring Experience You'll Never Forget | 90+ Countries With 3 Kids

“I will go anywhere, provided it is forward.” ― David Livingstone

Victoria Falls is every traveller's’ paradise because it’s one-of a kind mix of rich colonial history, astounding natural beauty and welcoming people. If you are planning a visit, apart from a going to one of the seven wonders of Nature, the Victoria Falls, you should check out the Livingstone Museum and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The Livingstone Museum is the oldest and largest museum in Zambia. It is separated into several sections covering archaeology, history and ethnography. The most memorable exhibits include a collection of original David Livingstone memorabilia, including signed letters and tribal artifacts from his travels.

However, if you ask us the best part after a day touring the museum and Victoria Falls sightseeing is a beautiful sunset.

UNFORGETTABLE moments with a ZAMBIAN family |S2EP20|

I'm still on the road towards Lake Kariba. I want to reach the lake before the sun goes down, but as always, I get lost because of this naughty GPS (google maps). The roads to get there are scenic but extremely challenging. Gigantic potholes make Rafiki, my Toyota Hilux, dancing like crazy, the busy towns require full concentration, and kids trying to get my attention, another element to keep cool with. Zambia is intense and this intensity goes straight to my heart. But despite a positive mindset, I'm so tired and I end up driving at night, on insane gravel roads. In the middle of a village, I gave up. But the universe, again, put amazing souls on my path. Peace and his family came to me to show me the way to the lake. I told them that I'll be back the day after to spend some time with them in the unforgettable village of Sinazeze. I wake up by the lake (in Sinazongwe) where two fishermen are risking their life. Lake Kariba is the largest man-made lake in the world and surely the most dangerous one. The largest population of hippos and Nile crocodiles live in the beautiful lake. Today, too many Zambians try to make a 'living' (although they earn peanuts) from fishing and from risking their life every single day. A few hours later, I'm back on the road, towards Sinazeze, again. I'm going to spend some quality time with Peace and his family. I hate my GPS as mush as I love it, because it always transform this solo expedition in Africa into magical and unforgettable moments.

Per - Part 3 - He was now 2 years old ????

When I visited Zambia in 2015 the wife of the family which I visited gave birth to a boy just after I left the village. 3. months later I received a message saying that they named the boy “Per” (same as me).
I returned to Zambia in 2016 to see Per. He was 7 months old. ????????
In 2017 I went back to Per's village. He was then 2 years old.

In 2017 I visited Choma, Lake Kariba, Sinazongwe, Namwala, Lusaka.
