Shahrekord (Persian: شهركرد, also Romanized as Shahrekord and Shahr Kord) is the capital city of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. It is the largest city in the province and is 90 km away from Iran's third largest city, Isfahan. At the time of the 2006 census, Shahrekord had a population of about 148,464 and the Shahrekord metropolitan area had a population of 380,312.
Shahrekord is known for its natural environment, cold winters, waterfalls, and rivers.[citation needed] Shahrkord is the Iran’s highest capital city at 2,070 m (6,790 ft) above the sea level. This led the city to be known as “Roof of Iran”. Shahrekord is at a distance of 521 km (324 mi) southwest of Tehran.
Its weather is dry, cold in winter and mild in summer. The town has a ski resort (Bardeh) located about 35 km (22 mi) away and several natural lagoons and small lakes for outdoor activities.

کمینگاه ارتش اشکانی در روستای کرد علیا از توابع شهرستان تیران و کرون در استان اصفهان که سال ۹۵ پیدا شده. این کمینگاه یا شهر زیرزمینی تا صد سال پیش هم مورد استفاده ساکنین روستا بوده. بعد از روستای کرد علیا رفتیم به شهر درهای سنگی یعنی تیران و بعد از اونجا رفتیم به سمت یکی از روستاهای ساحلی زاینده رود زیبا. امیدوارم که از این ویدیو لذت ببرید.
A military den for Parthian Empire in Korde Olya Village, Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan Province, was found 7 years ago. This shelter or underground city was still in use by the local villagers up to 100 years ago. After the Kord Olya Village, we went to the City of Stone Doors, which is the Tiran City and then we went towards a beach village near the beautiful Zayanderud River. my friend and I traveled to the largest wetland,
the name is choghakhor .As an international and beautiful wetland, Choghakhor Lagoon is located in Borujen County of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. It is a land close to the city of Baldaji and sixty-five kilometers from Shahrekord. Choghakhor is a lagoon spreading over an area about two thousand and three hundred kilometers. It is two thousand and one hundred meters above the sea level in the foothills of Kuh-e Klar or Klar Mount.Depth of this lagoon is less than three meters.

Landi Waterfall, Landy, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Trekking, Bazoft, Iran - آبشار لندی
About 200 km west of Shahrekord, in the last residential point of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, there is a village called Landi, which in addition to its attractions as a pristine village, due to its proximity to one of the prominent waterfalls of this province is of interest. The access road to Landi village is long and unsuitable due to its location in the impassable mountains of the Zagros. A large part of this route is mountainous and narrow and is blocked by seasonal rains.
From Landi village to the waterfall, there is no road and you must trek about 10 km through the pastures and oak forests. Due to its location in the middle of a wide valley overlooking the Bazoft River, this route has a beautiful and unique landscape.
Landi waterfall is in fact a large and full of water spring that go out at a point in the middle of the valley from the ground and falls a short distance from the exit in the form of a beautiful waterfall with several floors downstream. Landi is a roaring and majestic waterfall and due to its location in an impassable area, it is not easy to see the waterfall from below. After passing through many trees, the waterfall finally reaches the depths of the valley and joins the great river of Bazoft with a short distance.

Landi waterfall is one of the permanent and beautiful waterfalls of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, which is located in Shalil area of Ardal city. The approximate height of this waterfall is 40 meters and the width of its crown is 3 meters. The water of this waterfall enters the Bazoft river and finally accumulates behind Karun 4 dam.

Zard Limeh waterfall is located in the western regions of Ardal city, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. This waterfall is located in an area called Dinaran and at the end of a green valley called Zard Limeh (Zarde Limeh). The distance between Ardal city and the center of the province, Shahrekord, is about 80 km and is known as one of the main areas for nomads to cross in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
Zarde Limeh waterfall is located among the cliffs and high mountains of Zagros and at the end of a very green and beautiful valley. The height of this waterfall is 40 meters and the width of its crown (where the water starts to fall down, it is called the waterfall crown) is about 65 meters, which has made it known as one of the widest waterfalls in Iran. Everything you would expect from a nature destination can be found in this area. High mountains, a beautiful river, forests, lush pastures and, of course, a 6,000-year-old monument are gathered in this area.
The most famous type of vegetation in the foothills of the Zagros is its scattered oak forests. These forests are the second most valuable natural forest resources in Iran after the forests of the north of the country and are known as the breathing lungs of the Zagros. The extent of these forests in the vicinity of the Zard Limeh waterfall, has created a very attractive area from the point of view of nature tourism. Wild almond and spruce trees are another type of extensive vegetation in this area.
