L'autostrada A36 (detta autostrada Pedemontana Lombarda) è un'opera viabilistica autostradale italiana che ha l'obiettivo di velocizzare gli spostamenti nell'area nord di Milano, realizzando una via esterna alla provincia di Milano per collegare le provincie di Varese, Bergamo e l'area a nord di Milano, oltre che l'aeroporto di Milano-Malpensa con l'aeroporto di Bergamo-Orio al Serio.
Aperta su 22 dei 96 km previsti il percorso si sviluppa con doppia carreggiata a due corsie per senso di marcia, partendo dall'interconnessione con la A8 presso Cassano Magnago fino a Lentate sul Seveso dove si interconnette senza soluzione di continuità con la Superstrada Milano - Meda (SP-exSS 35), lungo il tracciato troviamo gli svincoli di Solbiate Olona, Mozzate, Cislago, l'interconnessione con la A9 Milano - Como e lo svincolo di Bregnano-Lazzate. nei pressi dello svincolo di Mozzate è prevista la realizzazione dell'area di servizio polifunzionale
Tratte in progetto/costruzione:
Tratta B2: lunga 9,3 km, riqualificazione in sovrapposizione alla Superstrada Milano-Meda a due corsie fino a Meda e a tre corsie per senso di marcia più emergenza sino a Cesano Maderno;
Tratta C: lunga 16,6 km, da Cesano Maderno alla A51 (Tangenziale Est di Milano) presso Vimercate (a tre corsie per senso di marcia);
Tratta D: lunga 16,8 km, a due corsie per senso di marcia, da Vimercate alla A4 (Osio Sotto/Brembate).
Il tracciato di Pedemontana Lombarda si inserisce in un territorio a rilevante sensibilità, in quanto caratterizzato da elevate densità abitative ed insediative e dalla presenza di significativi vincoli ambientali e valori paesaggistici.
Gli studi sviluppati nella fase di progettazione preliminare hanno orientato la concessionaria verso l'adozione di soluzioni che garantiscano una mitigazione strutturale degli impatti ambientali nei luoghi di massima criticità tramite la realizzazione di gallerie naturali e artificiali e adeguate misure di tutela e di inserimento ambientale e paesaggistico. Le situazioni di maggior criticità si hanno nella tratta da Lentate sul Seveso a Usmate Velate.
Circa la metà dell'intero percorso dell'autostrada è previsto in galleria naturale o artificiale, mentre un altro terzo è previsto in trincea, che è la conformazione che meglio consente di coniugare la minimizzazione dell'impatto ambientale con la sicurezza della circolazione.
La tratta fra il raccordo con la A8 presso Cassano Magnago e la SP ex SS 35 presso Lentate sul Seveso è stata aperta fra il gennaio e il novembre 2015.
Per il tratto da Lentate all'autostrada A4 è in progetto il prolungamento con la trasformazione della superstrada Milano-Meda in autostrada da Lentate a Paderno Dugnano e Cormano, ma non sono ancora iniziati i lavori.

Raccontando Milano è un viaggio attraverso i luoghi simbolo, le storie, i quartieri, gli aneddoti e le persone per raccontare Milano.
siamo in compagnia di Marta Scandiani dell'associazione Fulmicotone che collabora con il Civico Archivio Fotografico milanese, con sede al Castello Sforzesco.
la storia dei Navigli comincia circa 1000 anni fa. già nel 1177 o nel 1179, una decina d’anni dopo la ricostruzione della Fossa interna distrutta dal Barbarossa, ebbe inizio la costruzione del Naviglio Grande, derivando dal Ticino il Tesinello. In un primo momento il Naviglio collegò il Ticino solo fino a Gaggiano, per cui venne chiamato Naviglio di Gaggiano; sicuramente nel 1187 le acque del nuovo corso arrivavano fino a Trezzano e nel 1209 entravano in città, precisamente a Sant’ Eustorgio, mentre è del 1359 il primo, purtroppo fallimentare, tentativo di collegare Milano a Pavia tramite il Navigliaccio
Nel 1386 venne posta la prima pietra del Duomo di Milano, per la cui realizzazione venne utilizzato il pregiato marmo di Candoglia, che doveva essere trasportato dal Lago Maggiore fino alla Fabbrica del Duomo proprio grazie al Naviglio Grande: le barche dovevano attraccare al Laghetto di Santo Stefano. l laghetto sorgeva nei pressi dell’ospedale maggiore e fu il primo specchio d’acqua del naviglio a essere interrato, già nel 1857, su richiesta dell’allora primario Andrea Verga, che riteneva insalubri per i pazienti dell’ospedale i miasmi provenienti dalle acque stagnanti.
Comunque, per mettere in comunicazione le acque del Naviglio con quelle della Fossa Interna, era necessario vincere il dislivello tra i due corsi grazie alla conca, un bacino di limitate dimensioni compreso tra due chiuse successive nel quale è possibile far salire e scendere il livello dell’acqua. All’inizio le conche erano provvisorie e dovevano essere distrutte e ricostruite dopo ogni utilizzo. Soltanto dopo lunghi studi e numerose applicazioni, fu realizzata una conca permanente facile da aprire e da chiudere.

Eccoci nuovamente alle prese con un'avventura particolare, abbiamo cercato la città più radioattiva d'Italia che per coincidenza si trova anche nella nostra regione, quella dove viviamo: l'Umbria: benvenuti ad Orvieto! Dopo la serie su Chernobyl pubblicata qui nel nostro canale, abbiamo raccolto alcune provocazioni nei commenti e partiremo con nuove avventure.
Spesso il nome Chernobyl richiama alla mente di tutti noi, il disastro, il pericolo e la morte. Lo abbiamo assaporato anche di recente, con le attuali tensioni internazionali tra Russia ed Ucraina. Ma siamo sicuri che anche in Italia non ci siano luoghi contaminati almeno quanto Chernobyl che tuttora continuano ad essere pericolosi per la nostra salute? Sebbene visitare Orvieto, la città più radioattiva d'Italia appunto, non sia considerato pericoloso, vivere dentro una casa in tufo, probabilmente lo può essere.
Infatti il problema di Orvieto, così come di buona parte di quel territorio a confine tra Umbria e Lazio è caratterizzato da rocce di Tufo che risulta appunto essere radioattivo. Inoltre costruire una casa in tufo, comporta anche l'emissione di gas Radon. Per questo motivo, abbiamo deciso di contattare anche un ingegnere edile, per farci spiegare perchè si costruiscono case in tufo e come mai sono pericolose.

The city of Milan has been a great protagonist of World War Two. As main industrial city and communication hub has been bombed all the duration fo the war. The British and the Americans targeted important factories like Breda, Brown Boveri, Pirelli and many others as well as train stations and the railway network.
Mialn was also protagonist of the patizan movement, the antifascist resitance and the Shoah. We will follow the footsteps of the people that struggled to survive the war and escape the grasp of fascism.
A focus will be dedicated to the last few days of the war when Mussolini tried to save his life and his end in piazzale Loreto.
A mix and match of the most important monuments of the city and history of WW2. For the first time in town or people that want to understand this important part of our history.
