After being there for a few hours, (and drinking a bit too much Kava) it was apparent that I didn't want to leave... but that's another story.

After 4 hours trekking, you will face the largest lake in Vanuatu, Lake Letas, and volcano in the other side of the lake. The guide will take you on the dougout canoe to take you to the Volcano.....stay over night beside lake, the guide will catch prawns for your dinner. Next morning they will take you to the higherst waterfall, absolutely beautiful.

In from the north over Lolowai Lagoon. It can get really bumpy as you cross the ridge line. One moment you are looking down at the end of the newly bitumened runway, the next you are pointing up in the sky again. Longana and Lolowai are the principle entry points to Saratamata, the provincial capital.
