Welcome to this aerial tour by drone! This 4k video was recorded during our trip to Odessa, Ukraine in August 2021. I truly enjoyed travelling to Odessa, and I hope you will also enjoy this drone footage.

*About Odessa:*
Odessa or Odesa (Ukrainian: Одеса, Russian: Одесса) is the third most populous city of Ukraine and a major tourism centre, seaport and transport hub located on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea. Odessa is sometimes called the pearl of the Black Sea, the South Capital and Southern Palmyra.
City was founded in 1794 by order of Russian empress Catherine the Great. Odessa has always been the main port city of the Black Sea coast. Tourists are attracted by the city’s good traditions and hospitality, beautiful architecture and spacious beaches. During the Soviet period, it was the most important port of trade in the Soviet Union and a Soviet naval base.
During the 19th century, Odessa was the fourth largest city of Imperial Russia, after Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Warsaw. Its historical architecture has a style more Mediterranean than Russian, having been heavily influenced by French and Italian styles. Some buildings are built in a mixture of different styles, including Art Nouveau, Renaissance and Classicist. Many of Odessa's buildings have, rather uniquely for a Ukrainian city, been influenced by the Mediterranean style of classical architecture.
There are really many places for walking in the city, and you can study its streets indefinitely. Here you will find beautiful old mansions and magnificent modern buildings, as well as numerous monuments and fountains. The old part of the city and its main symbol is the Deribasovskaya Street, along which is stretched a large square. Here you will see contemporary artists who show off their works; take a walk among the ancient sculptures and watch beautiful pictures of marine landscapes, portraits and still life pictures.
In 1887 one of the city's most well known architectural monuments was completed – the theatre, which still hosts a range of performances to this day; it is widely regarded as one of the world's finest opera houses. Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre is considered one of the greatest cultural monuments.
Odessa's most iconic symbol, the Potemkin Stairs, is a vast staircase that conjures an illusion so that those at the top only see a series of large steps, while at the bottom all the steps appear to merge into one pyramid-shaped mass. Today on the top of the hill there is a beautiful park where you can walk among the trees, admire some interesting monuments and appreciate the city's panorama.
The city's most unusual architectural monument can be called Odessa Passage built back in the 19th century. Today, the beautiful historic building with a glass roof houses a prestigious hotel and several boutiques. In the pre-revolutionary period, it housed the city's most prestigious shops.
Odessa is one of the best tourist destination with developed tourism infrastructure and tourism industry in general. The tourism sector is of great importance to Odessa.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord ( - When I heard about Shady Maple Smorgasbord buffet, there was no way I was going to leave Pennsylvania without going. It’s a massive, Amish Dutch food cooking, probably the greatest American country cooking buffet ever. Also something cool, it’s a 200 foot buffet!
From Philadelphia it was a little over an hour drive to Shady Maple Smorgasbord, which is pretty close to Lancaster, and it’s in the beautiful Amish countryside of Pennsylvania. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, you arrive to this massive buffet - it looks like the town is built around a buffet. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner, and we arrived just before the end of breakfast, to be able to eat both breakfast and lunch, as the food changes. Breakfast was amazing - any kind of Western food breakfast dishes you can imagine are available - pancakes, omelettes, toast, mountains of bacon, and biscuits and gravy. It’s amazing. They then switch to lunch, and I was even more excited for lunch. You can just pay the difference of breakfast - so actually you’re just paying the lunch price ($14.99 per person) and then be able to enjoy both breakfast and lunch. For lunch they have a huge menu of dishes, plus a few extra special dishes each day. On the day I went they had Beef Brisket, Smoked Pork Chops, Fried Shrimp, New York Strip & Delmonico Steak for the daily specials. You can check all the menus and pricing here:
I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and how quality the food was, even cooked in large portions on a buffet. Really an incredible buffet eating experience, and that’s what makes it one of the most popular buffets and restaurants in Pennsylvania - every day it’s packed. A must eat Pennsylvania Dutch, Amish influenced food experience!

A NEW LIFE AFTER WAR: Fleeing Ukraine For Poland w @RandomDave ????????
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in late February 2022 more than 6.4 million refugees have left the country, whilst an estimated 7.7 million have been displaced within the country. It is estimated that 3 million of the refugees have so far been welcomed into neighbouring Poland. A Brit by birth, @RandomDave is one those refugees. Along with his wife and stepson Dave unexpectedly found himself sheltering in the basement of his apartment complex near Kyiv as explosions and gunfire could be heard close by. Eventually Dave and his family fled the country and have been welcomed with open arms by neighbouring Poland. Now settled in the beautiful city of Krakow, they are attempting to build a new life after war. I flew to Krakow and met with Dave to hear his story. We also ate some damn fine pierogies along the way!

Я зняв цей матеріал на початку лютого 2022 року, а за кілька днів до повномасштабного вторгнення росії в Україну, закінчив монтувати.
Це зимова соло-мандрівка до віддаленого села в горах Чернівецької області - Сарати. Там живе мій друг Михайло, він один з восьми постійних жителів цього села. Дорога до нього я ночував у мисливському будиночку поблизу РЛС Памір.
Похід у вільному стилі. В мандрівку я пішов без чіткого плану, дедлайну, і приймав будь-який досвід, який мені траплявся на шляху.
Допомогав Михайлу поратись по господарству, позичив у нього старі дерев'яні лижі, й сходив у невеличкий скітур по хребту Чорний Діл, став учасником толоки, і ми всім селом возили з гір сіно, ночував у гамаку посеред зимового лісу.

In July we explore the South Lido Beach Mangrove Tunnels from Ted Sperling Park using our Hobie Lynx paddle boards. The tunnels are amazing and full of fish. We even see a mother and baby manatee.
