At Germany's biggest lake, the Bodensee (lake Constance), is one of the best cities to visit in Germany. If you are planning to travel the South of Germany make sure to put it on your route, it's the perfect place if you're looking for an authentic & traditional German experience. There are almost no foreign tourists.
Lindau is in the most southern part of Bavaria on a little island on the lake Constance, directly bordering Austria (by land) and Switzerland (by water). The city is hosting every year the Nobel Laureate Meetings.

★ 4K ????????Samedan - Albulabahn - Chur; cab ride after over 1 meter snowfall [12.2020
Welcome to another snowy journey, this time on the world heritage listed Albula Railway. With it's 55 bridges and 39 tunnels, it is one of the most spectacular narrow gauge railways in the world. The centerpiece is the 5866m long Albula tunnel, which at 1820m above sea level, is the second highest alpine tunnel in Switzerland. As you will see, a new Albula tunnel is under construction beside the old one, which will replace it in the coming years.
For those who are unaware, the Rhaetian railway company has the largest narrow gauge (1m width) network in Switzerland.
The gradients are included in the upper right corner in the same format as they appear to the driver. The arrow indicates whether the gradient is up or down, the larger number is the promille value (1/10 of 1%). You will also see station names with their altitude, tunnel and bridge names with their length and year of construction - as well as other interesting information along the way to improve your viewing experience.
Our journey ends in Chur, the terminus station of the SBB normal gauge line from Zürich.

Driving in Liechtenstein and Switzerland: Autobahn A13 from Vaduz to St. Margrethen
In this video you can drive along from Vaduz (Liechtenstein Castle) to St. Margrethen in Switzerland. The small mountain state of Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries in the world and often seen as a tax haven.
It's nestled between some high mountains and shares borders with Switzerland in the West and Austria in the East. Vaduz is the capital. It has a small old town that despite having been in Liechtenstein at least 5 times I have never really visited. The whole country always leaves me with quite an anonymous impression, there are quite a few dark glazed private banking office buildings and some houses - that's it. Then there is the castle above Vaduz which is very pretty but not open to visitors.
It's only a short drive before we are back in Switzerland. The Autobahn A13 E43 runs along the Rhine river on the Western border of Switzerland. From Chur it starts to climb and it will ultimately pass the San Bernardino pass. I featured a part of A13 from Splügen to Bellinzona in an earlier uploaded video.

St. Gallen or traditionally St Gall, in German, is a Swiss city and the capital of the canton of St. Gallen. It evolved from the hermitage of Saint Gall, founded in the 7th century. Today it is a large urban agglomeration (with around 167,000 inhabitants) and represents the center of eastern Switzerland. Its economy consists mainly of the service sector. The city is home to the University of St. Gallen, one of the best business schools in Europe.
The main tourist attraction is the Abbey of Saint Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Abbey's renowned library contains books from the 9th century. The official language of St. Gallen is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect. The city has good transport links to the rest of the country and to neighbouring Germany and Austria. It also functions as the gate to the Appenzellerland.

Walking in ST. GALLEN / Switzerland ????????- Rainy Day - 4K 60fps (UHD)
St.Gallen / Switzerland is a city south of Lake Constance (Bodensee), in the northeast of the country. St.Gallen is also located about one hour from Zurich ( ), close to the borders with Germany and Austria where faster train connections allow even day trips from Munich.
On this rainy day we start our tour at the train station. We walk to the nearby city center with the many shopping streets like Multergasse. We continue towards the old market square with the historical Waaghaus before we head up and through the old town again to the Abbey of St. Gall.
This monastery is one of the main touristic sights. The Abbey of St. Gall complex includes a library with a rich collection of ancient books, which can be visited though filming seemed not allowed. As we continue to the twin-towered cathedral and return to the city on our way back to where we started.
We end our tour at the St. Gallen train station.

Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt St.Gallen
St.Gallen ist eine Stadt südlich des Bodensees in der Ostschweiz. In der schönen Altstadt haben sehr viele Gebäude dekorative Erkerfenster.
Hier befindet sich auch die Fürstabtei mit der pompösen Kathedrale und den beiden Türmen. Zum Gebäudekomplex gehört die Stiftsbibliothek, eine der ältesten und wertvollsten Bibliotheken der Welt. Der Stiftsbezirk gehört zum historischen UNESCO Weltkulturerbe.
Eine der bedeutendsten Textilsammlungen der Schweiz findet man im Textilmuseum St.Gallen.
Zum Verweilen oder für eine Pause lädt der grosse rote Platz ein. Er ist mit Sofas, Stühlen, Tischen usw. ausgestattet – die wie der Boden mit einem knallig roten Teppich aus Kunststoffgranulat überzogen sind.
