Braceria AD Restaurant ( Ristorante ) was our chosen dining experience for one of our nights on holiday in Cortona Italy.
IT WAS A DISASTER!
The approach was down an ally and once inside ristorante AD Braceria you were in cellars where there was a cheery fire/oven. But the reception was less than welcoming. There was no welcome it’s good to see you but a cold stark ‘Have You Booked’ even though the restaurant was far from full.
Not a good start.
We hadn’t booked, but were grudgingly shown to a table at Braceria AD Restaurant Cortona AR Italy. We then ordered starters and a shared Sea Bass which was the special of the day.
What followed was a disaster with slow service, wrong food delivered and a butchered Sea Bass served cold with cold vegetables on cold plates.
Needless to say we both complained but got no reaction from the owner who kept well away and left a rather nervous waitress to deal with the complaint. The sign of a good business is how the deal with any complaints and this at Braceria AD Restaurant gets zero out of ten.
I accept that any restaurant can have a problem on any given night but the Braceria AD Restaurant Cortona AR Italy got everything wrong for us on the 11th of Sept 2014 and charged us 82 euros for giving us the worst meal we have ever had in Italy.
