► WHO AM I?

I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!

P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time ????

Where to buy your Meat in Mexico? ...and a Trip through Guanajuato, Mexico.

Sometimes, when in Mexico, you are longing for a proper Ribeye steak...and you can't find it. There is help! Sam's Club or Costco will sell USDA Beef here in Mexico. Their stores are in many bigger cities. We bought a whole rib roast at Sam's Club in Oaxaca and put it to the test. Joining us are our friends Kara and Jason from the Everlanders. Watch what meat lovers say about buying your meat here in Mexico!

Also in this video, we'll take you to the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Our friends invited us to visit their home in Juventino Rosas, and we went to San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo and of course to Guanajuato, Guanajuato.

Enjoy the meat, the great company and the sightes with wonderful Mariachi music!

Best Things to do in Mexico City | Mexico City Travel Guide

???? Save for your Mexico City trip! ????????

(Full video live on my channel!)

Mexico City is one of my favorite cities in the world, and one of the reasons is because there is just SO much to do there! So it was really hard to narrow it down, but if you only had a few days to explore the city, these are the top 5 things you can’t miss (aside from eating ALL THE FOOD ????).

????????‍♀️ These are my favorites of the city so of course they are all included in my Mexico City group trip itinerary happening this March! Check the comments for more info! ????????????????????????

1. Tour the Centro Historico

Here you can see the famous Zocalo square, Catedral Metropolitan, Templo Mayor, Palacio Postal, and Fine Arts Palace, just to name a few.

2. See a Lucha Libre show

Lucha Libre is such a fun way to experience Mexican culture and entertainment. Order a massive cerveza, learn some “colorful” phrases to shout at the wrestlers, and watch as they try to de-mask fellow wrestlers. ????‍♂️

3. Visit Chapultepec Castle

Chapultepec Park in itself is a must, but the castle is the main attraction. Tour the castle grounds and gardens, visit the museum located inside, and see a stunning view of both the park and city from atop the hill. ????

4. Ride a trajinera at Xochimilco
The Xochimilco canals are what is left of the ancient canals of Tenochtitlán. Now it’s a festive and colorful gathering place for families and tourists alike, and an absolute party. ????

5. Visit the Teotihuacan Pyramids

These are about 45 minutes outside the city, and one of the most significant places in Mexico City’s history. You Can tour the archeological site, ride ATVs, visit nearby caves, and even do a sunrise hot air balloon ride. ????

Which ones will you be adding to your Mexico City itinerary? ????

MEXICO

Hello and welcome to Earth Horizons, the multinlingual travel and geography channel. I'm taking you on a virtual journey around the world. Today is Mexico!

Aerial views, beautiful landscapes, historical monuments - that's what my program has in store for you. Whether you're an experienced traveler or just dreaming about your next adventure, my videos will take you to some really cool places.

The views are grouped by chapter and located on a real-time map, just in case it's useful to you.

You can enable comments for videos for which they are available. They are not necessarily related to what you are seeing on the screen in real time. For all the countries presented, I have tried to research as much as possible about some of their aspects: history, arts, geography, current topics and I also provide you with useful practical information if you are traveling there.

Don't hesitate if you want to know more about my sources and music.

Happy travels! ;)

Below are the pictograms for the topics covered in the video's subtitles. The corresponding emoji will appear when those topics are discussed. The rest of the time, the comments will be an audio description of the video scenes. You can turn off the subtitles if they bother you, or come back another time to pay more attention to them, either way, you don't have to read them! ;) You'll see the name of the places and their location region in real time anyway. You can take a look at the chapters if a particular corner interests you. And make me happy, make yourself happy! :)

Mexico City | TOP Things to SEE and DO | City Travel Guide | Visit Mexico City

Let's visit Mexcio City, a metropolis that is rich in history, culture, and delicious food! Surprisingly, there are so many interesting places and things to experience in the Mexican capital, so don't dismiss it so soon as just another urban jungle. Be amazed by the historical center, deluge in its tacos, and enjoy live floating music bands in Xochimilco, the venice of Mexico!

Places we visited:
-Zócalo: the main square of Mexico City, one of the largest in the world!
-Catedral Metropolitana: a massive cathedral by the main square, the largest in the Americas!
-Templo Mayor: the archeological site with ruins of Templo Mayor from the Aztec civilization, located right next to the cathedral
-Zócalo underground station: See how Mexico City looked like when it was still called Tenochtitlan from the several models of the historical center through time
-Avenida Madero: the main pedestrian street in the city center
-Torre Latinoamericana and Palacio de Bellas Artes: some iconic landmarks of Mexico City
-Xochimilco: the area known as the Venice of Mexico due to its canals, where you can ride the Trajineras boats while getting food from other boats and listen to various live music from the musicians on other boats, only in Mexico City!
-Frida Kahlo museum: the Blue House (Casa Azul) where the great Mexican artist used to live has been converted into a museum, which is one of the most visited in Mexico City
-Teotihuacán: the archeological site just outside of Mexico City with large pyramids and ancient plazas and temples, a must visit on a day trip

Tips for your visit:
-The best foreign currency exchange rate in the country can be found in the airport of Mexico City, Benito Juárez.
-There are many boat embarkation points around Xochimilco. We took the boat from Embarcadero Nuevo Nativitas, one of the bigger ones with plenty of facilities including many food stalls.
-Book your ticket in advance for a visit to Frida Kahlo museum.
-There are frequent bus rides from the Northern Bus Terminal (Terminal Central del Norte) to Teotihuacán. Set aside a full day to explore Teotihuacán.

My favorite top five places to explore in Mexico City.

The Zócalo is the common name of the main square in central Mexico City. Prior to the colonial period, it was the main ceremonial center in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan. The plaza used to be known simply as the Main Square or Arms Square, and today its formal name is Plaza de la Constitución
The National Museum of Anthropology is a national museum of Mexico. It is the largest and most visited museum in Mexico.
The Museo Soumaya is a private museum in Mexico City and a non-profit cultural institution with two museum buildings in Mexico City - Plaza Carso and Plaza Loreto
The Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as the Blue House for the structure's cobalt-blue walls, is a historic house museum and art museum dedicated to the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. It is located in the Colonia del Carmen neighborhood of Coyoacán in Mexico City
