1 – El Parque Nacional Lanín
El parque nacional fue creado para preservar y proteger esta parte de los bosques andino-patagónicos, cuenta con más de 20 lagos, entre ellos el lago Lacar, en cuya costa está la ciudad de San Martín de los Andes y el lago Huechulafquen, más al norte.
Podrán ver montañas, ríos y el extinto volcán Lanín, el pico cónico nevado que limita con Chile.
2 - El muelle de Puerto Canoa
Está ubicado en la margen norte del Lago Huechulafquen y dentro del área de Quila Quina en donde se encuentra el muelle desde el que parten las excursiones embarcadas, al lago Lacar entre otras.
3 - Quila Quina
Dentro del Parque Nacional Lanín, este pequeño pueblo playero, Quila Quina se ubica a tan solo 18 km de San Martín de los Andes, sobre la margen sur del lago Lácar, forma parte de los alrededores de la ciudad.
Es un lugar muy popular en los meses cálidos y cuenta con rutas de senderismo, orillas de arena del lago, la playa con el típico muelle, campamentos y restaurantes.
Se puede llegar en auto o como lo hicimos nosotros, en Ferry partiendo del Muelle de San Martín.
Es un lugar que perfectamente se puede recorrer en forma autoguiada, ya que está correctamente señalizado.
4 – El Lago Hermoso
No es uno de los 7 lagos, pero desviándose de la ruta por un camino de 2 km se ingresa a la costa del Lago Hermoso, para nosotros, el más lindo de este circuito.
Se ubica a 75 km de Villa La Angostura y a 35 km de San Martín.
Imperdible…
5 – La Cascada Chachin
La Cascada Chachín es una de las más importantes del Parque Nacional Lanín con una caída aproximada de 30 metros y se encuentra a 60 kilómetros de San Martín de los Andes.
Desde el estacionamiento, hay que continuar por el sendero peatonal, la caminata es en subida, de dificultad media y dura aproximadamente media hora dependiendo del ritmo del caminante.
Al llegar al fin del sendero se encuentra el mirador de la cascada.
6 – Puerto Pucara
Puerto pucara es un pequeño muelle antiguo en San Martín de Los Andes, donde hace décadas atrás las personas aldeanas de ese maravilloso lugar, se embarcaban para dirigirse a la ciudad por provisiones y educación.
Se encuentra a 57 km de San Martín de los Andes y a 6 km de la cascada Chachín.
7 – Muelle de Hua Hum
En el límite del territorio argentino, sobre las aguas del lago Nonthué, se encuentra una increíble bahía de amplias playas ideales para el descanso.
Se encuentra a 50 km de San Martín de los Andes y es un punto obligado de desembarco de las excursiones embarcadas que diariamente salen del muelle de San Martín de los Andes.
8 - Lago Lolog
Muy cercano a la ciudad, el lago Lolog se ubica a sólo 12 kilómetros de la ciudad de San Martín de los Andes y deslumbra con sus playas y un muy lindo centro de servicios ideales para disfrutar a pleno la Naturaleza patagónica.
9 - Paihuen Resort
Es un Complejo Vacacional ubicado sobre las márgenes del Lago Lácar y en el corazón del Parque Nacional Lanín, a solo 5 minutos de San Martín de los Andes, sobre la ruta de los 7 Lagos.
Cuenta con cabañas y aparts de piedra y madera, con Caleuche (su Restaurante y Club House), y con el Wine Bar más destacado de la región.
10 - Descubrí San Martín de los Andes
Esta mágica ciudad de montaña sin duda alguna lo tiene todo: un abanico de opciones para todos los gustos y un escenario natural que se puede disfrutar en las cuatro estaciones del año.
Aunque no es tan grande como la cercana Bariloche, San Martín de los Andes y sus playas junto al lago son ideales para pasar un día de paseo y descanso.
Se la considera la puerta de ingreso al Parque Nacional Lanín, creado para proteger los paisajes naturales de la región conformados por cerros, bosques nativos, ríos, vertientes, cascadas y lagos
11 - Por último… la Ruta de los Siete Lagos

San Martín de los Andes was founded on February 4, 1898 with the purpose of strategically establishing a town near the border with Chile due to the territorial conflicts that existed at that time. The first settlement was developed on a territory belonging, at that time, to the Mapuche Curruhuinca community.
