In my tour we’ll discover Trieste, Miramare and Duino Castle, Grado, Aquileia, Palmanova, Gorizia, Cividale del Friuli, Udine, Montasio upland, Fusine and Predil Lakes, Venzone, Spilimberto, Valvasone, San Vito al Tagliamento and Sacile.
So, not only breathtaking views but also art pearls such as the elegant and discreet cities of Friuli Venezia Giulia that have traveled the world, listened to different languages, known distant cultures and religions. To understand this, just look at the Audace pier from Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia in Trieste, or walk simultaneously in Italian and Slovenian territory in the Transalpina square of Gorizia. Thus Trieste wore Habsburg clothes, Udine became the city of Tiepolo, Gorizia took the name of Austrian Nice, Pordenone oscillates between Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic influences. forgotten two UNESCO jewels such as Cividale del Friuli and Aquileia. Sacile and the Livenza River, Italy. In the historic centre of Sacile you can visit some historic and artistic places like; Piazza Duomo, a small Venetian square which is faced by the Duomo di San Nicolò, the sixteenth century Palazzo Ragazzoni with the magnificently frescoed interiors, Piazza del Popolo with the fifteenth century Loggia Municipale and Renaissance buildings, the Chiesetta della Pietà, and the Palazzi Ovio Gobbi and Carli.
While walking and visiting around the city you will notice the river Livenza and the Canale della Pietà. So you can enjoy the beautiful views of the elegant Venetian architecture which is reflected in the calm, clear waters of the Livenza, and definitely you will admire the romantic atmosphere of the many bridges that you can find in the city during your visit.
