Although Jakarta extends over only 664.01 km2 (256.38 sq mi) and thus has the smallest area of any Indonesian province, its metropolitan area covers 9,957.08 km2 (3,844.45 sq mi), which includes the satellite cities Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, South Tangerang, and Bekasi, and has an estimated population of 35 million as of 2021, making it the largest urban area in Indonesia and the second-largest in the world (after Tokyo). Jakarta ranks first among the Indonesian provinces in the human development index. Jakarta's business and employment opportunities, along with its ability to offer a potentially higher standard of living compared to other parts of the country, have attracted migrants from across the Indonesian archipelago, making it a melting pot of numerous cultures.

Where is the EASIEST PLACE to meet Filipinas? Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines
After 3 nights staying in White Beach, I headed for Sabang Beach, beyond Puerto Galera town. White beach was a bit sleepy, even for me. Whilst staying there I was constantly reminded of The Specials song Ghost Town but I was visiting during October which is considered off season. Come back in December or January and it might be different. Or maybe not. The nightlife in Puerto Galera is apparently in Sabang.
I paid 1430 pesos online for Jack Daniel Apartments in Sabang. It’s amazing how you can pay the same price for a hotel room and have two totally different experiences. Sandstorm Lodge at White Beach is priced at 1500 which includeS breakfast, but I managed to bargain Anthony down to 1350 a night. Even that was overpriced for a claustrophobic shed with cold water shower with your neighbors positioned less than half a meter away. So I was looking forward to working in my room in Jack Daniel where I could work in comfort.
Puerto Galera, Mindoro houses the idyllic White Beach. As I’ve got older I’d rather be in bed early at night and up at daylight. A great start to my day is walking along the beach. White Beach is similar to Alona Beach, although the latter is monopolized by Dive Boats, when at 7am there’s a army of helpers loading the dive boats with gas canisters which make a pleasant clinking sound as they’re knocked against each other.
Mindoro island has been in my sights for a while now. Whilst scrolling through FB posts on good locations for expats to live in the Philippines, recommendations for Puerto Galera would frequently pop up. So it made sense to schedule Mindoro into to my plans with its proximity to Manila. I’ve got four more places to visit over the next four weeks.

We do a 24-hour food fest in Jakarta and this is what we found in Jalan Sabang, one of Jakarta’s most famous night food markets. This is the best! From satay to fresh-cut fruit to martabak telur, we find something for everyone in our family to eat. We even try fresh palm fruit for the first time! This place is where it is at with it is for crowds, vendors, music, and more. What is the fruit called that we ate at the end of the video? We know it by a few different names, but it seems to be different everywhere we go. We’d love to know what it is called where you are from. We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL
PARK
Tanjung Puting National Park is one of
the natural wonders of the world and
also one of the best National Park in
Indonesia. This place is consist of Tropical Rainforest
and Biodiversity not forget to mention
this is the best place to see the dignity of
the gentle Orangutans.
The best known animals in Tanjung
Puting are the orangutans, made famous
through the long-term efforts of the
Orangutan Research and Conservation
Program (predecessor to OFI), based at
the landmark Camp Leakey research
station. Tanjung Puting is well known for its “bird
lakes,” seasonal rookeries for a half a
dozen species of endangered waterbirds, including the only known Bornean
nesting grounds for white egrets.

KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
Komodo National Parks is one of Nature
World Heritage Unesco that located in

The park includes three major islands,
Komodo, Rinca and Padar, and
numerous smaller islands together
totalling 603 square km of land. At least
2,500 komodo dragons live in this area. Large
dragons are usually three meters long
and weigh up to 90 kg. Their habitat has
beautiful panoramic views of savannas,
rain forests, white beaches, beautiful
corals, and clean blue seas. In this area,
you can also find horses, wild buffalo,
deer, wild boar, snakes, monkeys, and
various types of birds.
This park is consist of the richest marine
environments. This place has an
amazing underwater sea biotica. Divers
claim that Komodo waters are one of
the best diving sites in the world. It has
fascinating underwater scenery.
LOMBOK – SEMBALUN - KUTA
Lombok Located just east of Bali Lombok
with beautiful beaches, enchanting waterfalls, the large, looming volcano
of Mount Rinjani combined with
relatively few tourists, Lombok is indeed
the paradisiacal tropical island that many people still mistakenly imagine Bali to be
now.
That is a Natural Park, Pergasingan Hill at
1670 meters which height above sea
level, this park is located on a hill north
of the Sembalun village. Enjoying a
hilltop of Pergasingan Hill that offer
stunning scenery, ranging from the
highlands, lowlands, rice fields, hills that
surround the village Sembalun and also
Mt. Rinjani it would be one of the best
experiences in Lombok.
