Rzepin (niem. Reppen) – miasto w woj. lubuskim, w powiecie słubickim, siedziba gminy miejsko-wiejskiej Rzepin.
Rzepin uzyskał prawa miejskie przed 1329 rokiem.
Miasto powstało w miejscu X-wiecznego grodu i rzemieślniczego podgrodzia zlokalizowanego przy miejscu dogodnej przeprawy przez Ilankę. Najstarsza wzmianka o Rzepinie pochodzi z 1297 roku.
Miasto położone przy drodze krajowej nr 92, w odległości 21 km od Słubic, 66 km od Gorzowa Wlkp., 85 km od Zielonej Góry, 170 km od Szczecina, 150 km od Poznania, 250 km od Wrocławia i 450 km od Warszawy.
Wg.źródeł statystycznych liczba mieszkańców w 2021 r. wynosiła 6454.

Rzepin (German Reppen) - a town in the voivodeship Lubuskie, in the Słubice poviat, the seat of the urban-rural commune of Rzepin.
Rzepin obtained city rights before 1329.
The city was founded on the site of a 10th-century stronghold and a craftsman's borough located at a convenient crossing point across the Ilanka River. The oldest mention of Rzepin comes from 1297.
The city is located on the national road No. 92, 21 km from Słubice, 66 km from Gorzów Wielkopolski, 85 km from Zielona Góra, 170 km from Szczecin, 150 km from Poznań, 250 km from Wrocław and 450 km from Warsaw.
According to statistical sources, the number of inhabitants in 2021 was 6,454.

Słubice ist eine Stadt an der Oder im äußersten Westen Polens. Bis 1945 war das heutige Stadtgebiet als Dammvorstadt ein Stadtteil von Frankfurt (Oder). Heute befinden sich in und bei Słubice die wichtigsten Grenzübergänge zwischen Deutschland und Polen – die sogenannte Stadtbrücke über die Oder und unmittelbar südlich Słubices die Autobahnbrücke der Bundesautobahn 12. Słubice ist Standort des polnisch-deutschen Wissenschaftszentrums Collegium Polonicum.
Słubice is a border town in the Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. Located on the Oder river, it lies directly opposite the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany, which it was a part of as Dammvorstadt.

Eine 80km-Nachmittagstour mit dem Fahrrad durch Westpolen.
Bei schönstem Radwetter ging es in Frankfurt (Oder) zunächst durch Slubice durch, dann südlich entlang der Oder über Urad nach Cybinka. Nach einer kleinen Stärkung ging es dann weiter auf wenig befahrenen Straßen Richtung Rzepin. Von Rzepin aus führte mich meine Tour dann wieder westwärts Richtung Slubice/Frankfurt (Oder).

Berlin to Świnoujście: 2 trains & 1 ferry! I stand in the Baltic Sea after travelling for 14 hours.
My original plan was scuppered when part of my train journey was replaced by a rail replacement bus service. I finally complete my journey from Berlin to Świnoujście and stand in the very chilly waters of the Baltic Sea at Świnoujście.
