Canon G7X Mark II: (it’s amazing and basically sees in the dark)
Canon G7X: (the original is almost as good, but less expensive)
Joby Gorillapod: (fantastic versatile bendy tripod – this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

Storia ISEO Lago D'Iseo - History Iseo Italy Walking Tour Part 6

Storia Iseo Lago D'Iseo History Iseo Italy walking tour Part 6

Storia Iseo Lago D’Iseo Italy

History Iseo Lago D'Iseo Italy
The origins of Iseo are lost in antiquity: its banks were inhabited since prehistoric times as documented by the archaeological discovery of structures from the Bronze Age (13th century BC) which took place in the years 1999-2000 along the Via per Rovato.

However, the name seems to derive from the cult of the goddess Isis which refers to the Roman era; here in Iseo the floors of a domus or villa were found in the upper part of the town, dating back to the 1st century AD. C.

Bolzano/Bozen The Gateway to the Dolomites - Part 1 4K

Bolzano is a city in the South Tyrol province of north Italy, set in a valley amid hilly vineyards. It's a gateway to the Dolomites mountain range in the Italian Alps. In the medieval city center, the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology features the Neolithic mummy called Ötzi the Iceman. Nearby is the imposing 13th-century Mareccio Castle, and the Duomo di Bolzano cathedral with its Romanesque and Gothic architecture. ― Google

Here are some key points about Bolzano:

Geography and Culture: Bolzano is situated in the South Tyrol region, which has a unique blend of Italian and Austrian-German cultures due to its historical ties to both Italy and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. As a result, you will find that both Italian and German are widely spoken in the city.

Scenic Beauty: The city is known for its breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by the Dolomites, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountains provide ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and mountaineering.

Historical Significance: Bolzano has a rich history dating back to pre-Roman times. Throughout the centuries, it has been a strategic location for trade and cultural exchange between northern and southern Europe.

Architecture and Sights: The city has an interesting mix of architecture, blending modern Italian styles with traditional Alpine influences. Some notable sights include the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology (home to Ötzi the Iceman, a well-preserved ancient mummy), the Duomo (Bolzano Cathedral), and the medieval Runkelstein Castle.

Culinary Delights: The South Tyrol region is renowned for its delicious cuisine, which combines Italian and Austrian flavors. You can enjoy a variety of dishes, including speck (smoked ham), knödel (dumplings), and various Alpine cheeses.

Transportation: Bolzano is well-connected by road and rail to other major cities in Italy and Europe. The city has its own airport, making it accessible to international travelers.

Traveling in Northern Italy: Beyond Milan - Wine Oh TV

Culture, cuisine, fashion and finance, Italy's Milan has it all. After you've seen Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper, experienced the La Scala opera house, and overindulged in designers, we invite you to take your travels even further and go beyond Milan. When you sashay beyond the catwalk you will find a purrrfect pairing of Bella Vita, Bon Appetito and of course vino.

Lombardia or Lombardy in English, is Italy's richest region and is blessed with an embarrassment of riches. Lombardy's regional capital is Milan; and the region's other provinces are: Brescia, Lecco, Varese, Como, Bergamo, Sondrio, Cremona, Mantova, Pavia and Lodi. Its varied vistas include industrious cities, medieval towns, lakeside resorts, and a wine country that sparkles as much as the lakes do.

Travleing in Northern Italy Milan FoodIf you watched our first video, The Best Sparkling Wine You Have Never Heard Of you are already familiar with the fabulous wine of Franciacorta. In our second video, Italy's Best Sparkling Wine: Franciacorta you heard first hand from the families behind the wine and fell in love with Franciacrota all over again. In our third and final video, Traveling in Northern Italy: Beyond Milan we are showing you the real region that doesn't always make the headlines, but is well worth your time and mine.
