Rose Belle, Mauritius - Main Street Vlog
We explore the main street in Rose Belle. Over a year of waiting and numerous rained-out attempts, we finally get to walk around this great village. Exploring all the street shops and foods on offer we also checked out some of the old buildings, a park with a strange history, and probably too many electric bikes. Rose Belle should be well known for its innovative street foods. Opening Chana Puri to fill it with sauce and chili and for elevating the humble gato pima sandwich, are only a few of the great ideas coming out of the village. With so much more to explore, we will be back.

We arrived early on a Sunday morning and the market was already packed with people and the delicious aroma of food. There are quite a few different street foods for sale at Rose Belle so we tried a few things we haven't had before including crepes and flan. This is a very big market and a wonderful foody destination.

Plaisance Mall - A shopping village in Mauritius
When our Rose Belle village vlog was completely rained out, we went to check out the local mall, Plaisance. Wow, it has a beautiful garden in the centre, some interesting shops and of course a great Food Court. Located quite near to the airport, this 'shopping village' is well worth a visit.
