Slovakia has abundant cultural and historical, fortified and stately buildings. There are more than 100 castles and at least double this number of manor houses built in different historical eras.

➤ Orava Castle - Oravský hrad - The most attractive tourist locality of the northern Slovakia, built on impressive cliffs above Orava river near the village Oravský Podzámok. In 1370, it became a county castle and the seat of the Orava Castle estate, which included almost the whole region of Orava.
➤ Beckov Castle - castle standing on steep 50 m tall rock in the village Beckov. The dominance of the rock and impression of invincibility it gaves, challenged our ancestors to make use of these assets

Explore Slovakia's Hidden Gem: Krásna Hôrka Castle at Sunset | Drone View
The Krásna Hôrka Castle is situated east of Rožňava. It stands on top of the conspicuous unwooded mountain, which dominates the Rožňavská kotlina basin. The main attraction though is the embalmed body of Sophia Andrássy-Serédy. Writer Mór Jókai used the motif of the mummy in his novel The White Lady of Levoča.
The original Gothic castle was built around 1320. The courtyard of the upper part of a rather small castle with triangle-shaped ground plan has been preserved. Fortifications were added to the castle in time of the Turkish threat. Fortifications including three canon bastions and a cannon terrace in the Renaissance style were built. In addition, it was when the interior of the castle got a more homely Gothic-Renaissance shape and when it acquired its present form.
Three generations of the Andrássy family tried to obtain the Castle and finally succeeded in 1642. In 1735, the area in front of the castle gates was adapted and the small Baroque chapel of St John Nepomuk was built there.

Bratislava adalah ibukota Negara Slovakia, letaknya di tengah Eropa. Bratislava dipanggil juga si cantik dari Donau karena berada di tepi sungai Danube yang indah. Atau sebutan lainnya Little Big City karna merupakan kota kecil bagi ukuran Eropa.
Bratislava adalah kota yang menarik dengan banyak destinasi wisata yang dapat Anda kunjungi dalam Wisata Halal Anda. Berikut destinasi wisata yang wajib dikunjungi jika berkunjung ke Bratislava :
Kastil Diatas Bukit di Kota Tua.
Bangunan ini menjadi ikon Kota Bratislava karena merupakan bangunan yang mendominasi pemandangan kota. Bangunan tersebut telah mengalami pembangunan dari masa ke masa pada lokasi yang sama, sejak awal di yakini merupakan pemukiman orang Celt yang membuat benteng yang disebut Oppidum.
Pembagunan kastil dimulai sejak abad ke 10 dengan sebuah istana batu, gereja Juru selamat. Abad ke 15 dibangun sebuah puridengan gaya Gotik sebagai benteng anti Hussite dan pintu masuk Gerbang Sigismund di sebelah timur. Pada abad ke 16 Raja Ferdinand membagun kembali kastil tersebut dengan gaya Renesains, kemudian gaya barok menjadi sentuhan untuk kastil pada pemerintahan Ratu Maria Theresia. Bangunan ini kemudian menjadi Gedung Parlemen Slovakia dan terdapat Museum Nasional Slovakia yang berisi koleksi dari perkembangan sejarah bangsa Slovakia.
Chatedral St. Martin
Cathedral St. Martin merupakan katedral Gothic yang didirikan sebagai penghormatan pada Juru Selamat Suci diatas situs gereja Romawi Kuno. Gereja ini terdapat 4 kapel, yaitu kapel kanon, kapel Gotik Sophia, Kapel St Anne, dan kapel barok St John the Merciful. Antara tahun 1563 dan 1830, Gereja ini menjadi tempat pentahbisan raja – raja Hungaria dan permaisurinya yang di layani oleh Santo Martinus, dalam Gereja ini terdapat replika mahkota kerajaan Hongaria yang beratnya 300 kg yang bertengger di atas menara neo-Gothic setinggi 85 meter di katedral. Setiap awal September tiap tahun diadakan even rekonstruksi upacara penobatan kembali di Bratislava.
Primate’s Palace
Primate’s Palace adatu Istana Primatial merupakan bangunan bergaya klasik, dibangun pada tahun 1778-1781 diatas properti semula milik uskup agung Esztergom. Saat ini Istana Primatial adalah kantor walikota Bratislava, dan Hall of Mirrors yang luar biasa sekarang digunakan untuk menyelenggarakan konser. Bangunan ini merupakan bangunan klasik terindah di Slovakia, dan di dalam bangunan tersimpan berbagai koleksi berharga seperti perabotan antik dan potret penguasa Hungaria. Dibagian halaman terdapat patung sosok St George yang sedang bertarung dengan Naga yang merupakan perlambang upaya Gereja Katolik untuk mengusir Reformasi dari kota.
Gerbang Michael
Menjadi salah satu ikon kota Bratislava, berupa atap tembaga bulat yang merupakan menara bergaya Gotic yang dibangun pada abad ke 14, kemudian di modifikasi antara tahun 1753 dan 1758 dengan gaya Barok.
Dari menara setinggi 51 meter ini Anda dapat menikmati pemandangan kota tua yang sangat mempesona. Di puncak menara terdapat patung malaikat Michael yang membunuh seekor naga dan pada pintu masuk menara terdapat Museum Senjata. Di jalan yang melewati gerbang adalah pelat nol kilometer, yang mencatat jarak 29 ibu kota dunia dari Bratislava.
Devin Castle
Devin Castle merupakan Objek wisata yang paling banyak dikunjungi wisatawan jika bertandang ke kota Bratislava, bangunan kastil ini merupakan jejak tertua pemukiamn Slavia yang berasal dari Abad ke 8 dan ke 9 yang merupakan benteng dari kekaisaran Moravia.
Devín Castle terletak di pemandangan alam yang indah. Dibangun di atas tebing tinggi, menara ini menjulang di atas desa kecil Devin dan pertemuan Sungai Donau dan Sungai Morava yang membentuk perbatasan dengan Austria. Di atas desa Devín, bukit tertinggi di Bratislava saling bersilangan dengan sejumlah jalan bertanda yang menawarkan pemandangan spektakuler dari negara tetangga Austria dengan Wina dan Pegunungan Alpen di latar belakang. Walaupun situs ini berupa reruntuhan kastil namun Devín tetap menjadi reruntuhan yang romantis.

About Vantastic: We are a happy couple who got rid of everything to travel the world. We make vlogs sharing our daily lives in a camper van, our ups and downs, and our adventures around Europe.
What camera equipment do you use?
We use GoPro10, Røde VideoMicro with a dead kitten, Ulanzi tripod mt-16, Ulanzi cage G9, Ulanzi vl49 light, DJ Mavic Pro drone and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the vlogs. Our electrical power set-up in our camper van allows charging our camera and laptops to film and edit.
What is your van?
Our camper van is Fiat Ducato 2015, Adria Twin conversion panel van. We have done only minor upgrades and mods to our camper van, we pretty much love it as it is.
How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!
