*Rio Tuba, Palawan is primarily known for the large scale nickel mining and their big salt water crocs, but apart from these, this place has hidden gems we don't get to usually see, they have one of the best sand bars ever.
-On this video, Benjo & Mayden Maming go on a trip to Rio Tuba(southern Palawan) with Mayden's grandma, Lola Inday..
Mayden was born on this place and she's finally back to explore again after those 17 long years..
The couple headed and visited the White Sand(local beach name), a 20mins boat from from Marabahay, Rio Tuba and they were fascinated by the beauty of the sand bar island.
Fortunately, the caretaker of the sand bar is uncle of Mayden's uncle and it is open for public to visit..
It has a powdery white sand with a crystal clear water and is very rich in marine life..
The couple also had a short tour on the vast mangrove area where the huge crocs of Rio Tuba live and hunt..

Sombrero Island (Isla Sombrero) is one of the best island in the Municipality of Aborlan
Also known as Isla Sombrero to the local Palawanians. The only white sand beach island in Aborlan, which is the next town to the South of Puerto Princesa. Beach area excellent for swimming, virgin coral reef similar to Roxas and Dumaran in the Northern part of Palawan island.
The Municipality of Aborlan lis located in a vast plain between the Sulu Sea and the mountains, 69 kilometres south of Puerto Princesa City.
It is the only town in the province with an agricultural college, now called the Western Philippines University.
