Raub is a district in Pahang, Malaysia. Located in the west of Pahang. According to the history, this mining centre was named Raub after a group of miners found a handful of gold in every tray of sand they dig. Now, an old mining township of 100,000 people, has become the “Durian Capital of Malaysia after farmers discovered its soil and climate were perfect for growing the fruit.

Adventurers and nature lovers, have you discovered these two places in Bentong, Pahang?
???? Chamang Waterfall
Only reachable by a 12km road from Bentong Town, the majestic Chamang Waterfall cascades down a steep gully in the Bukit Tinggi rainforest region, creating a grand playground for nature lovers. The cold mountain waters and breeze from the waterfall creates a cooling environment, making it an ideal location for picnics and camping during scorching hot days. For those who are not prepared to wade through the rocky stream and water, there is also a short suspension bridge that connects to the other side of the fall. Please be alert and be careful of strong currents and whirlpools!
???? Desa Damai Hill
A trip to Bentong must include a hike up to this popular 3.7km out-and-back trail. Along the route, you will find a plethora of interesting things to ogle at, like the stunning landscape, beautiful view of the tranquil sea of clouds and its fresh air. It is a moderately challenging route and will take an average of 1hr 40mins to complete. You're sure to fall in love with this place when you visit.

【马来西亚旅游 Travel Kaki】文冬+劳勿探索之旅 | 百叶山瀑布超好玩，超刺激 | Bentong+Raub+Lata Berembun Trip
马来西亚旅游景点介绍第四站 - 文冬+劳勿（Bentong+Raub)| 百叶山瀑布（Lata Berembun)
第一天的旅程
文冬（Bentong)和劳勿（Raub)位置与彭亨州（Pahang)。从吉隆坡（kuala Lumpur)出发到文冬大约一个小时的路程，而劳忽则是离文冬不远的小镇，从文冬到劳忽也只不过是大约30分钟的路程。
小编这次和一班travel kaki计划好了在文冬和劳勿来个两天一夜探索之旅，但由于这次在文冬的旅程中出些了一些状况，所以一些旅游胜地如情人瀑布、热水湖等未能去到，所以唯有再下一次再和大家好好分享。
为了寻找当地的好吃的早餐，我们来到了“开记云吞面”，这里可说得上是门庭若市，去到时已经full house,等了10分钟才找到位置坐。除了云吞面之外，这里的招牌饮料就是“劲抽冰”。“有几劲？自己来试下啊！哈哈！”所谓的“劲抽冰”就是 milo + coffee + Neslo ,比我们在kl喝的“cam冰”略有不同。
“开记云吞面”就在Jalan Chui Yin,很靠近巴刹，所以吃饱后我们就除了逛巴刹以外，也去探索附近后港的壁画。那里的壁画生动有趣，而且也带出了文冬的文化气息。
去到了文冬的情人瀑布后，才发现它的大门关掉了。下车看它的告示牌后，才发现由于有急流的关系所以暂时关闭至1月才开放。所以，我们唯有放弃直接下劳忽。
Restoran Ratha Raub – 在劳勿当地著名的一间印度料理店，这里出名的招牌菜就是“咖喱鱼头”。
一般我们吃的“咖喱鱼头”都是华人做，所谓万变不离其宗，再好吃味道也是停留在一个层次。
但用印度香料来烹饪的“咖喱鱼头”却带有独特的香料味，让停留在你味蕾的咖喱汁多了一种层次感。而且，这间店的老板为了使大众都能煮到这种香料味咖喱鱼头，所以他也有出售他的recipe包装咖喱香料粉给顾客。
Hill Garden Homestay,距离Restoran Ratha Raub 不到2Km,所以吃饱后我们便进去check in休息，吃了晚餐后，就开始和kaki们party rock.

第二天的旅程
百叶山瀑布(Lata Berembun)位置于劳勿（Raub）38Km的sungai Klau, sungai klau是它的登山口。要登山唯一的方法乘坐四轮驱动车（4 wheel drive）,要提前预约当地的四轮驱动车服务。一辆车的租车费是RM250（服务包括带你进去里面的3个瀑布。），可载的人数大约6个到8个乘客。
乘坐这个四轮驱动车可以说是这次的旅程高潮之一。最惊险刺激的路程从山脚下开始，一路山需要经过凹凸不平烂泥路和山路，坐在或站在车后箱的人都必须抓紧铁指，而且要不时闪躲头上的树枝和树叶。小编还和友人开完笑说拳王Muhammad Ali不知是否是通过这种方式来练他的head movement敏捷度。经过1个小的路程后，你会有种错觉你的手臂变壮了，双手也可能起泡泡，但这种追风的刺激实在是妙不可言。
（温馨提示：乘坐四轮驱动车进山前时最好准备手套！）
百叶山里有三个瀑布，分别是【仙女湖】，【溜冰湖】，和【向阳湖】。下了车后，我们走上上坡第一个来到的就是【仙女湖】。【仙女湖】有一个特色，如果呆在湖中不动，它的水流会带着你逆时钟围绕着湖边打圈。躺在救生圈不动的话，让水流带着你转圈，也是一个挺享受的娱乐。
在山里吃了午餐后，我们便跟着司机大哥们进去第二个瀑布-【溜冰湖】。进去【溜冰湖】需要爬山涉水，花的时间大约20分钟。但经过一番努力后，你会觉的非常有成就感，因为在你面前等着你的就是一个巨大的“天然滑梯”。要上这个“天然滑梯”也不简单，需要考你的腿功和平衡感。我们在司机大哥的带领下，一个个爬到“天然滑梯”的顶端，轮流享受着这个“天然滑梯”带给我们滑水的乐趣，每个人至少会玩回两个round才肯罢休！
由于下午3.30之前需要到回去homestay收拾包袱和check out，所以我们便无缘目睹到【向阳湖】的壮观，希望有生之年会再来一次。
这次的文冬之旅虽然出现了一些阻碍，但幸运的是百叶山瀑布之旅确实没让小编失望，这一次的乘坐四轮驱动车刺激惊险的过程更可说是毕生难忘，词穷的小编只用“痛快”来形容，哈哈！

Place to eat Musang King at DurianWorld Sang Lee Valley Vlog
This month is Durian fruit season. My friend Mei Ling the Nature Guide had plan to bring us to the Durian Farm to eat fresh durian. So I invite my friends to come along and my Uncle from England who has being waiting for so long to taste the best Durian Musang King. This journey to Bentong Raub is a bit far just to come to eat Durian. My Uncle Victor and Mr Alan Koh is a love bird buddy. So I suggest to Mei Ling to bring us to see Birds first before heading to the Durian Farm. The Durian Farm name is SANG LEE DURIAN VALLEY. According to Mei Ling this farm is famous for their Musang King. The fruits are just collected from the trees. It is more fresh compare buying from the city town. Price are more cheaper here too. So if you want to eat the best of the best Durian is better straight to go to the farm to taste it by yourself.

For this episode I’ll be venturing to a state which I have never done a feature for, that’s Bentong of Pahang. Since most of my previous features on tin mining town were well received, I thought the prior Taiping episode should follow suit. Unfortunately there’s no fixed format to get good viewership, if there was a winning formula, then I haven’t nailed it yet. I hope you will enjoy this episode as much as I had worked on it.
