Ranong - THAILAND
We spent a few days in Ranong and were pleasantly surprised how beautiful this province is. It had everything - beaches, mountains, waterfalls, grassy fields, hot springs, lakes, amazing viewpoints.
We loved looking out from Hat Chandamri Beach and seeing Myanmar across the water. Definitely a province worth visiting in Thailand!

Southern Thailand is famous for its beautiful islands. From Chumphon on the East Coast and Ranong on the West Coast you can reach most of the popular ones. But what if you stayed on the mainland, focused on these two un-touristic cities and the smaller, less-known islands?
In this video I show you all the sights, highlights and insider tips for Chumphon and Ranong!
Chumphon: Have a traditional Thai breakfast at Chumphons fresh market and visit the local fishermen. Get an overview of the Chumphon region at the Khao Matsee Viewpoint and visit the Prince-of-Chumphon-Shrine. Explore the islands of the Mae Koh Chumphon National Park and check out the mangrove forest. Join the locals in cooking delicious Thai meals in Bang Mak and enjoy the prettiest beach of the area, Thung Wa Laen. Feast on fruits and dried fish before heading over to Ranong.
Ranong: Soak in the hot springs of Ranong after a morning bike ride. Visit the islands of the Laem Son National Park, especially the stunning view of Koh kam Tok. Let Gong from Gong Coffee explain to you what makes good coffee good coffee and enjoy a cashewnut shake afterseeing the roasting process. Visit the small villages and experience the authentic Thai lifestyle. Learn how to make your own ceramic in hat Som Paen and visit Ranong's 100-year-old house. Take a sunset cruise on the Royal Andaman Boat and feast in delicacies at the night market or in one of the amazing local restaurants.

Border town in Ranong, Thailand a mix of great food and culture.
Driving through Thailand and discovering things we have never seen. Too much to see. This border town offers a great variety of Chinese, Burmese, Muslim, and Southern spicy Thai food.
First Day In RANONG Southern Thailand ????????
There's a few different hot springs in Ranong but we happened to be staying just a 10 minutes walk from the Raksa Warin Hot Springs so we got up early and went to see what they are all about!
Entry was free and the hot springs where in such a nice location in the southern Thailand jungles, you really feel like your in a small town when your in Ranong.
Our hotel worker then offered us a free ride on the back of his bike into Ranong town to eat at the tastiest curry and roti spot in town, it did not disappoint the food here was so good.
We then end the video in a really good little coffee shop on a river, the location was so relaxing and the best part was the prices were the same as anywhere else.
Ranong is such a nice part of Thailand it's so green. Our first impressions of southern Thailand are shaping up pretty well ????????
