Only just in Germany - Flensburg
I just couldn´t stop filming the beautiful buildings in Flensburg and I had to go and visit the place where it all began, and find out about the legend of the Knight Fleno and the origins of Flensburg.
Such stunning buildings and in a magical position on the Flensburger Fjord! Flensburg is a very special place, the most northern city in Germany. Btw, we do tend to say town and city intermittently in English, I had to look up the difference. And Flensburg is officially a city, so please excuse that I occasionally say town!
My meditative videos show a calming and artistic view of the places I visit and the quiet, peaceful wanders I take through them. Medieval villages, picturesque cottages, beautiful cities. Flensburg (Danish, Low Saxon: Flensborg; North Frisian: Flansborj; South Jutlandic: Flensborre) is an independent town (kreisfreie Stadt) in the north of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Flensburg is the centre of the region of Southern Schleswig. After Kiel and Lübeck, it is the third largest town in Schleswig-Holstein.
In May 1945, Flensburg was the seat of the last government of Nazi Germany, the so-called Flensburg government led by Karl Dönitz, which was in power from 1 May, the announcement of Hitler's death, for one week, until German armies surrendered and the town was occupied by Allied troops. The regime was officially dissolved on 23 May.
The nearest larger towns are Kiel (86 kilometres (53 miles) south) and Odense in Denmark (92 km (57 mi) northeast). Flensburg's city centre lies about 7 km (4 mi) from the Danish border.

Rødovre Centrum is Denmark's first real indoor shopping mall. It opened on April 1, 1966 and is located at Rødovre Town Hall on the corner of Tårnvej and Rødovre Parkvej in Rødovre near Copenhagen. It is located a little north of Rødovre's old shopping street Roskildevej.

Rødovre Centrum was opened by the gardener Aage Knudsen, with inspiration from American shopping malls in 1966 as the first real shopping mall in Denmark. It was later expanded in 1975, 1989, 2000 and 2003–2006. The founder's grand son, Jesper Andreassen, was appointed to CEO in 1991.
A new, 14,000 sqm expansion was in augurated in 2013. It was undertaken by Hoffmann and Moe.

After a short drive on the A7 motorway, we cross the hilly inland of The Pelopennese Peninsula, on the EO9a, that brings us to the west coast of it, where we join the main coastal road EO9. We are driving through beautiful olive trees plantations, until Pyrgos, from where we are heading to the archeological site of Olympia, one of the most important of the country, on Unesco World Heritage List since 1989.

Radreise Zwischen den Meeren - Tag 10 Ostseeküstenradweg Dollerup - Kupfermühle
Der letzte Tag auf dem Ostseeküstenradweg steht an bis zur dänischen Grenze in Kupfermühle. Noch einmal genießen wir die traumhaften Passagen direkt am Meer und verabschieden uns etwas wehmütig von der Küste, denn ab Tag 11 geht es auf dem Ochsenweg mitten durchs Land zurück Richtung Elbe.
Die Tour bei Komoot:
Vorbemerkung: das Filmmaterial stammt von meinem Mann Luthi und sollte eigentlich bei ihm als Fortsetzung seiner Soloradreise 2021 erscheinen. Aber die Zeit läuft weiter und das Material wird immer älter. Deshalb habe ich jetzt den Staffelstab der Bearbeitung übernommen, freut Euch auf 14 abwechslungsreiche Radreisetage!
