It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Ingmar Bergman and many more have all worked here. It was the most modern film studio in the world in 1920, and had it’s glory days 1930-40’s. Solna Centrum, Stockholm, Sweden
Solna Municipality (Swedish: Solna kommun or Solna stad, is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of the Stockholm City Centre. Its seat is located in the town of Solna, which is a part of the Stockholm urban area.
The municipality is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm. None of the area is considered rural, which is unusual for Swedish municipalities, which normally are of mixed rural/urban character. Solna is the third smallest municipality in Sweden in terms of area.

Solna Centrum is a shopping center located in the district Skytteholm between the districts Hagalund, Råsunda and Huvudsta within Solna municipality, Stockholm County. It is one of the Stockholm region's largest centers with more than 95 shops and 22 restaurants. The glazing was opened in 1989 and an extensive renovation of the facility 2010–2013.
The center is located about five kilometers northwest of Stockholm city adjacent to the metro's blue line. The facility is owned by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.

Another wonderful sunny spring day in Stockholm, Solna. I had a stroll around Skytteholmsparken. It is an awesome park for children, where you can play different sports in summer & winter. It's great family hangout place.
Skytteholm is a district centrally located within Solna municipality. Skytteholm borders Råsunda in the north and northwest, Hagalund in the northeast, Huvudsta and in the west Sundbyberg municipality. The district includes Solna center, Hanneberg, Nyboda and Solna Business Park (formerly Virebergs industrial area). Solna town hall is located in Skytteholm.
