Hoorn is a town and a former Dutch East India Company base in the Dutch province of North Holland. It lies on the IJsselmeer, a lake north of Amsterdam. Shops and cafes dot its 17th-century town center, which is anchored by the Roode Steen, the main square. The harbor features the Hoofdtoren, a 16th-century tower. Waterland is a picturesque region in the Netherlands, located north of Amsterdam. As the name suggests, water is an important feature of the area. It is a vast polder landscape with many ditches, canals, lakes and rivers that cross the area.
Waterland is known for its historic farms, quaint villages and scenic landscapes. The area has a rich cultural heritage and a long history. Many of the villages in Waterland date from the Middle Ages and have a unique traditional architecture. The landscape changes seasonally, offering constant surprises from the slow-flowing water, foliage, and vibrant colors.
The area is popular with tourists and offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. It is a perfect destination for bike rides, walks, boat trips and canoe trips. There are several routes that lead along the waterways and through the villages, so that you can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Endless green pastures, water dikes, picturesque canals, and charming towns... These are just some of the things you can find in the beautiful Dutch Countryside!
Dubbed as 'Old Holland', we explored some of the little towns up in the North of Amsterdam called Waterland area. It almost feels like travelling through time, as we saw some pretty historic monuments and buildings dated as early as the 13th century.

I just came back from a trip and decided to make a video also a little vlog about it. And soon, I will be uploading videos about my another trip.
Netherlands is veeery great and amazing! Out of the 4 countries I visited on the trip, Netherlands is my favourite.
I stayed in Inntel Hotel, Amsterdam. The workers are very nice and friendly. The receptionists are good looking and kind. One of them look alike Ansel Elgort of TFIOS lol
During my stay in Amsterdam, I spent times to wander around the street. I also went to Red Lights. I was so amazed! You can find anything that's forbidded by the religion there xD
Me and my family also had dinner in the famous Canal Cruise, Amsterdam.
Beside of Amsterdam, I went to Zaandam, Volendam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, and Purmerend. I really like the building in Zaandam and the Erasmus Bridge of Rotterdam is very beautiful.
Everything about Netherlands is amazing. I surely will comeback!

Monnickendam, Netherlands
Monnickendam is a beautiful small harbor town, one hour by bicycle from Amsterdam. This route is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies on the coast of the IJsselmeer, about 8 km southeast of Purmerend. It received city rights in 1355 and suffered a lot of damage during the fires of 1500 and 1513. Monnikendam was also the name of a number of warships - mainly built at the port of that name - during the Anglo-Dutch Wars.
