The Lublin Voivodeship is one of those that border on the territory of Ukraine and Belarus, so it is quite close to go to it. The region is famous for its favorable lands for agricultural activities, various crops are grown on black soil, and dairy products are also produced. This voivodship is a leader in growing vegetables, fruits and berries, and raising livestock. Of course, it cannot do without cultural and historical heritage, as well as many educational institutions.

The capital of the voivodship is Lublin, and the first mention of it dates back to 1198, during the Second World War, the largest Jewish community with a Jewish university was located here, and now it is the largest city in terms of area and population. The heart and center of Lublin is the ensemble of the Old Town with the Old Town Hall, and the royal castle with the chapel of the Holy Trinity. In the city center are the main, important cultural attractions - the Cathedral of John the Evangelist and St. Baptist. Lublin is considered the fifth largest educational, university center, second only to Warsaw and Krakow.

Nature
The territory of the Lublin Voivodeship is covered by protected areas and national parks: Polessky and Raztochsky, and is also washed by the Vistula and Bug rivers. Mostly hilly terrain prevails, with most of the land already plowed. Coniferous trees predominate in national parks, but steppe vegetation is also found. Numerous swamps, peat bogs, ponds and lakes throughout the voivodeship. National parks attract ornithologists and scientists, as it is in this area that rare species of birds, one of the rarest turtles and many relict plants are found.
Also, all guests of the Lublin region can visit the Nadvepshansky, Lenchinskoye Poozerie, Chelmsky landscape parks.

Despite the fact that the main city is Lublin, it is worth highlighting the towns of Zamość, Chelm, Pulawy, which are important for the voivodship.
Zamość is a city called the pearl of the Renaissance, little Padua, as there are many historical buildings and buildings of extraordinary beauty in the Italian style. For a walk around the city, a day is enough to see the Market Square, illuminated fountains and colorful merchant houses.
Chelm is small and cozy, has beautiful landscapes that are visible from the coast of the Uherka River, Castle Hill is the hallmark of the city and a favorite place for locals, and tourists can be attracted by chalk caves - underground labyrinths where chalk was previously mined.
Pulavy - neat green and clean, quiet and for a calm measured life. One of the main attractions is the park with the Czartoryski Palace, spread over 30 hectares. The complex includes the Church of the Ascension, the Greek House, the Yellow House, and a wonderful walking area near the Vistula River.

The territory of the voivodship is rich in historical and cultural heritage, a large number of temples and churches are located here. Many tourists come to visit Kazimierz Dolny, where there is a unique atmosphere of historical monuments. Lublin Old Town amazes with its authenticity, with its fascinating history, cobbled streets, beautiful corners, colorful townhouses with many details and a vibrant architecture. There are over 110 monuments on 1 square kilometre, and most of them have retained their original shape. Lublin is undoubtedly worth a visit.

The history of Lublin began in the Middle Ages, when the town was a trade settlement and a guard post on the eastern border of a young Polish state. The first written information about it dates back to the 12th century, and then in 1317 it was granted city rights.

For me, Lublin was a great destination as it allowed me to fully enjoy my love for historic old cities. And that's exactly what I focused on in my video.

Zwiedzanie Krakowa rozpoczniemy na rynku, na którym można tu zobaczyć Bazylikę Mariacką z Ołtarzem Wita Stwosza i hejnałem mariackim. Na rynku znajdziemy też oczywiście Sukiennice, które do dziś zachowały funkcję handlową, ale nie tylko. W Sukiennicach znajduje się Galeria Sztuki Polskiej XIX wieku, a także Rynek Podziemny, czyli trasa turystyczna, dzięki której można odkryć tajemnice krakowskich podziemi.

To nie wszystkie atrakcje, jakie oferuje Rynek Główny w Krakowie. Kolejnym miejscem, które warto zobaczyć jest Wieża Ratuszowa, która stanowi fragment dawnego Ratusza. Znajduje się na niej punkt widokowy. Ponadto, na rynku znajduje się też niewielki kościół św. Wojciecha i wiele innych pięknych budynków.

Przez Rynek Główny przebiega Droga Królewska, która rozpoczyna się na Kleparzu i prowadzi przez Barbakan, ulicę Floriańską, Rynek Główny oraz ulice Grodzką i Kanoniczą do Zamku Królewskiego na Wawelu. Kiedyś pokonywali ją polscy władcy podczas uroczystości koronacyjnych i pogrzebowych. Warto przejść tę drogę, nawet jeśli przyjeżdżacie do Krakowa na weekend.

Na Drodze Królewskiej stoi m.in. Barbakan, który można zwiedzać i który jest częścią trasy obronności. Dalej mamy Planty, czyli ogrody miejskie, które powstały w miejscu dawnych fortyfikacji Krakowa. Kolejną atrakcją jest Brama Floriańska, która prowadzi na ulicę Floriańską i dalej na Rynek Główny.

W okolicy bramy znajdują się dwa muzea. Dom Jana Matejki, w którym mieści się oddział muzeum narodowego, a jego wnętrza pełne są eksponatów, pamiątek, mebli i obrazów autorstwa tego malarza. Drugim muzeum, które warto odwiedzić w czasie zwiedzania Krakowa, jest Muzeum Książąt Czartoryskich. Możemy w nim podziwiać różne dzieła sztuki, z których najpopularniejszym jest obraz Dama z gronostajem autorstwa Leonardo da Vinci.

Z Rynku Głównego na Wawel prowadzi ul. Grodzka. Wawel to ogromna skarbnica wiedzy o historii Polski, która była ważnym ośrodkiem władzy świeckiej i kościelnej i która mieściła się właśnie w Krakowie.

Zamek Królewski na Wawelu był wielokrotnie przebudowywany. Dostępne są różne trasy zwiedzania. Warto zobaczyć sale reprezentacyjne, skarbiec koronny, zbrojownię, czy dziedziniec wielki.

Kolejną atrakcją Wawelu oraz samego Krakowa jest Katedra Wawelska, która w swoich podziemiach skrywa Groby królów, książąt oraz bohaterów narodowych. Podczas najważniejszych uroczystości kościelnych i narodowych w katedrze rozbrzmiewa Dzwon Zygmunta.

Zwiedzanie Krakowa obejmuje także dwie klimatyczne dzielnice - Kazimierz i Podgórze, które łączy Kładka Ojca Bernatka. Jeśli szukacie oryginalnych knajp i sklepików to Kazimierz i Podgórze powinny się znaleźć w waszym planie zwiedzania.

W Krakowie można zobaczyć aż pięć kopców. Najpopularniejszym jest Kopiec Kościuszki, który został wzniesiony jako pomnik upamiętniający Tadeusza Kościuszkę. Warto także wejść na Kopiec Kraka, który jest jedną z największych atrakcji Podgórza.

Jeśli szukacie kulturalnych atrakcji, na pewno zainteresuje Was gmach główny Muzeum Narodowego, gdzie zorganizowane są wystawy stałe i czasowe. Warto wiedzieć, że oddziały Muzeum Narodowego w Krakowie we wtorki można zwiedzać bezpłatnie.

Puławy to miasto powiatowe w województwie lubelskim, z kilkuwiekową historią, położone nad Wisłą.

Osada handlowo-rybacka Puławy istniała już na początku XVI wieku. Była to początkowo niewielka osada obok wsi Włostowice, wchodząca w skład magnackiego zespołu majątkowego z ośrodkiem w Końskowoli.

W drugiej połowie XVII wieku rodzina magnatów Lubomirskich założyła tutaj swoją rezydencję. W XVII wieku w Puławach zaczęli osiedlać się Żydzi.

Córka Lubomirskiego Elżbieta, wnosi Puławy jako wiano do małżeństwa z Adamem Mikołajem Sieniawskim. Jego sympatia dla Augusta III Sasa była przyczyną zniszczenia rezydencji w roku 1706 przez króla szwedzkiego Karola II.

Elżbieta podejmuje odbudowę pałacu, a kontynuuje ją jej córka Zofia, która w 1731 roku wychodzi za mąż za wojewodę ruskiego Aleksandra Augusta Czartoryskiego. Dzięki temu Puławy przechodzą na następne 100 lat na własność Familii, jak określano rodzinę Czartoryskich, stając się w następnych latach drugim (obok Warszawy) centrum kulturalnym Polski, zyskując nawet nazwę Aten Północy. Zaczyna się złoty wiek dla Puław.

Po upadku powstania listopadowego, w 1831 roku wojska rosyjskie zniszczyły Puławy. Upadek powstania to kres świetności rezydencji Czartoryskich, którzy zmuszeni są do emigracji. Lata 1831-1862 nie obfitują w wydarzenia polityczne. Puławy przyjmują rolę spokojnej, prowincjonalnej miejscowości, która od roku 1842 nosi nazwę Nowa Aleksandria.

Podczas I wojny światowej, w 1915 roku Nową Aleksandrię zajęły wojska austriackie.

Podczas II wojny światowej, we wrześniu 1939 roku Puławy zostały zajęte przez wojska niemieckie. W październiku 1939 roku Niemcy utworzyli w Puławach getto, w którym zgromadzili kilka tysięcy Żydów.

Na przełomie lipca i sierpnia 1944 roku w rejonie Puław toczyły się ciężkie walki I Armii Wojska Polskiego z Niemcami. Podczas walk zniszczeniu uległo 60% miejskiej zabudowy.

W pierwszych latach powojennych udało się odbudować most, rozpoczęto odbudowę rezydencji Czartoryskich, zlikwidowano zniszczenia wojenne w przemyśle, komunikacji i łączności.

Puławy – miasto w zachodniej części województwa lubelskiego w pobliżu granicy województwa mazowieckiego, położone nad Wisłą, na skraju Małopolskiego Przełomu Wisły, największe miasto nadwiślańskie między Krakowem a Warszawą.
Ośrodek przemysłowy (przemysł chemiczny, budowlany, farmaceutyczny itp.), naukowy (6 instytutów naukowo-badawczych, szkolnictwo wyższe), turystyczno-kulturalny: będące częścią trójkąta turystycznego Puławy – Kazimierz Dolny – Nałęczów, ponadto ośrodek: muzealnictwa (pierwsze muzeum na ziemiach polskich, a zarazem najstarsze muzeum w Europie Środkowej), węzeł komunikacyjny (port rzeczny, 2 przeprawy mostowe, główne szlaki komunikacji drogowej i kolejowej).
Na terenie miasta znajduje się podstrefa Specjalnej Strefy Ekonomicznej Starachowice, obejmująca obszar 106,7 ha i zagospodarowana w ponad 26%.
Według danych GUS z 16 grudnia 2021 r. miasto liczyło 46 664 mieszkańców.

Puławy leżą w zachodniej części województwa lubelskiego, na Nizinie Mazowieckiej tuż przy granicy z Wyżyną Lubelską, która przebiega przez Parchatkę (według Jerzego Kondrackiego), nad prawym brzegiem Wisły, niedaleko od najdalej wysuniętego na wschód jej zakola, w sąsiedztwie Kazimierskiego Parku Krajobrazowego. Historycznie położone były w Małopolsce (początkowo w ziemi sandomierskiej, a następnie w ziemi lubelskiej). W granicach miasta wpada do Wisły rzeka Kurówka. Miasto często bywa wiązane z pobliskimi Kazimierzem Dolnym i Nałęczowem, wspólnie określanymi mianem trójkąta turystycznego.
Powierzchnia miasta wynosi 50,49 km²

We head to the beautiful Kazimierz Dolny and discover a hill of cross at Grabarka.

Puławy - Rzeka Wisła - Most im. Ignacego Mościckiego

Most im. Ignacego Mościckiego – most nad Wisłą łączący miasto Puławy ze wsią Góra Puławska; siedmioprzęsłowy, w większości o konstrukcji stalowej kratownicowej z jazdą dołem; zbudowany w 1934 roku, zniszczony w 1939 i 1944 roku, odbudowany w 1949 roku.
Projekt stałego mostu drogowego w Puławach opracował Aleksander Pstrokoński we współpracy z Konstantym Kornem. Zaprojektowano obiekt o rozpiętości (85 + 88 + 110 + 88 + 85) m = 436 m. Był to układ dwóch belek dwuwspornikowych i trzech belek zawieszonych w przęśle środkowym i w skrajnych. Wysokość dźwigarów nad podporami sięgała 16 m, a szerokość całego mostu wynosiła 12 m. Konstrukcja ustroju niosącego oparta była na sześciu podporach na żelbetowych kesonach. Podpory zaprojektował Stefan Zagrodzki z Biura Konstrukcyjnego Wydziału Mostowego w Ministerstwie Robót Publicznych.
