Gdańsk is a city on the Baltic coast of northern Poland. With a population of 470,621. Gdańsk is the capital and largest city of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the most prominent city in the geographical region of Pomerania. It is Poland's principal seaport and the country's fourth-largest metropolitan area.
The city is situated at the southern edge of Gdańsk Bay, in a conurbation with the city of Gdynia, the resort town of Sopot, and suburban communities; these form a metropolitan area called the Tricity, with a population of approximately 1.5 million. Gdańsk lies at the mouth of the Motława River, connected to the Leniwka, a branch in the delta of the Vistula River, which drains 60 percent of #poland and connects Gdańsk with the Polish capital, Warsaw.

Pruszków jest częścią aglomeracji warszawskiej liczącej ponad 2 600 000 mieszkańców.
Według danych z 31 grudnia 2020 r., Pruszków liczył 62 623 mieszkańców i był pod względem liczby ludności piątym (po Warszawie, Radomiu, Płocku oraz Siedlcach) miastem w województwie mazowieckim, a także 64. spośród najludniejszych miast w Polsce. Jest tez najgęściej zaludnionym powiatem w Polsce - gęstość zaludnienia to 674 a w mieście 2885 osób/km2.
Przez miasto przebiega linia kolejowa nr 1 Warszawa – Katowice, obsługująca przejazdy dalekobieżne z Warszawy. Przejazdy lokalne obsługują linie nr 447 Warszawa Zachodnia - Grodzisk Mazowiecki oraz nr 47 Warszawa Śródmieście WKD - Grodzisk Mazowiecki Radońska.
Pociągi na linii 1 obecnie nie zatrzymują się w Pruszkowie; linia 447 jest wykorzystywana przez pociągi Kolei Mazowieckich w wielu kierunkach (Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Skierniewice, Warszawa oraz pojedynczo inne) oraz Szybkiej Kolei Miejskiej w Warszawie (linia S1 Pruszków - Otwock). Linia 47 jest wykorzystywana przez Warszawską Kolej Dojazdową, realizującą przewozy z Warszawy do Komorowa, Podkowy Leśnej, Milanówka i Grodziska Mazowieckiego.
Ponadto, przez Pruszków przebiega znaczna część linii kolejowej nr 512. Linia ta nie jest zelektryfikowana ani używana w regularnym ruchu; wykorzystywana jest nieregularnie do transportu pociągów oraz materiałów między sieciami PKP PLK i WKD.
W Pruszkowie są dwa kluby sportowe biorące udział w rozgrywkach na poziomie pierwszoligowym – Miejski Klub Sportowy „Znicz” (piłka nożna) i „Znicz Basket” (koszykówka mężczyzn) oraz występujący od sezonu 2009/2010 w ekstraklasie PTS „Lider” (koszykówka kobiet). Na terenie miasta działa również kilka mniejszych klubów sportowych. Poniższa lista przedstawia najważniejsze kluby sportowe:
W Pruszkowie działała Mafia Pruszkowska - grupa powstała w wyniku przemiany ustrojowej w Polsce po 1989 (upadek PRL). Ówczesna Milicja Obywatelska, przekształcona w 1990 w Policję, nie potrafiła poradzić sobie z falą nowej przestępczości. Grupa zaczynała od przestępczości gospodarczej (przemyt z zagranicy spirytusu i papierosów), następnie zajęła się przestępstwami kryminalnymi (napady na TIR-y, wymuszanie haraczy, obrót narkotykami[2], porwania, zabójstwa na zlecenie[5]). Gang pobierał również „opłaty licencyjne” od innych grup przestępczych z całej Polski[3]. Lokalni bossowie z terenu kraju zyskami dzielili się z szefostwem gangu pruszkowskiego. Na samym szczycie gangu stał zarząd kolegialnie podejmujący decyzje[6]. W pierwszej połowie lat 90. z grupą połączył się gang ożarowski.
6 lipca 1990 przestępcy z gangu pruszkowskiego wpadli w policyjną zasadzkę, w wyniku której doszło do strzelaniny w motelu George koło Nadarzyna. W lutym 1996, w głośnej medialnie egzekucji, został zastrzelony na pruszkowskiej ulicy Wojciech K. ps. „Kiełbasa”. W grudniu 1999 w Zakopanem został zastrzelony Andrzej Kolikowski ps. „Pershing” który był zbrojnym ramieniem dla Pruszkowa. W Polsce drugiej połowy lat 90. w zorganizowanej grupie przestępczej zabójstwa stały się czynami powszechnymi. Gangsterzy dokonywali egzekucji w biały dzień, wykorzystując do nich również materiały wybuchowe.
Obecnie Pruszków to miasto satelita Warszawy. Liczne inwestycje dewoloperskie oraz tereny zielone i parki oraz dogodny dojazd do stolicy ( linia WKD i SKM) sprawiają, ze przenosi się tutaj coraz więcej młodych osób. Saldo migracji jest dodatnie.

Pruszków, to największe po stolicy miasto aglomeracji warszawskiej. Liczący ok. 60 tysięcy mieszkańców ośrodek, leży na Równinie Łowicko-Błońskiej, nad rzeką Utratą, na południowy zachód od Warszawy.
Pierwsze ślady osadnictwa w tych stronach pochodzą sprzed naszej ery. W pobliżu odkryto ślady hutnictwa z przełomu er. Zaczątkiem współczesnego miasta była mała wieś Proskowo (najdawniejszy zapis z 1415 r.) lub Proskow (zapis z roku 1421). Starszy jest Żbików, obecnie dzielnica miasta, wzmiankowany w 1297 roku.
Pruszków nabrał znaczenia po wybudowaniu kolei warszawsko-wiedeńskiej w 1845 roku i parcelacji dóbr ziemskich. Zaczęły tu powstawać wille i domy letniskowe, równocześnie rozwinął się przemysł. W 1857 r. założono wytwórnię fajansu, w roku 1877 rozpoczęto budowę warsztatów kolejowych (Warsztaty Naprawy Drogi Żelaznej Warszawsko-Wiedeńskiej), w 1881 roku powstała Wytwórnia Kotłów i Konstrukcji Żelaznych, w 1889 r. otwarto fabrykę ołówków „Majewski”. W 1910 roku Pruszków uzyskał status osady fabrycznej.
Prawa miejskie otrzymał w 1916 r. W okresie międzywojennym Pruszków rozwijał się nadal jako największy ośrodek przemysłowy w strefie podmiejskiej Warszawy. W 1919 r. Stowarzyszenie Mechaników Polskich z Ameryki założyło w dawnej odlewni fabrykę obrabiarek. W 1920 r. uruchomiono elektrownię, a siedem lat później przez miasto przeprowadzono Elektryczną Kolej Dojazdową do Warszawy i Grodziska. W 1936 r. na trasie Pruszków – Warszawa – Otwock zaczęły kursować pierwsze pociągi elektryczne PKP. W przededniu II wojny Pruszków liczył już 27 tysięcy mieszkańców i należał do największych miast Mazowsza.
Podczas okupacji hitlerowskiej podzielił los innych miast polskich. Od początku działał tu prężnie ruch oporu. W egzekucjach zginęło ponad 1000 mieszkańców, a ludność żydowska (ok. 1600 osób) została wywieziona do obozów zagłady. W czasie Powstania Warszawskiego w halach warsztatów kolejowych hitlerowcy urządzili obóz przejściowy dla ludności wysiedlanej z Warszawy. Z Pruszkowa, 27 marca 1945 roku władze sowieckie wywiozły do Moskwy zaaresztowanych podstępnie 16 przywódców Polski Podziemnej.
W 1945 roku Miasto było przejściowo siedzibą niektórych ministerstw i urzędów. W 1952 r. zostało siedzibą powiatu. Po wojnie, w związku z rozwojem przemysłu Pruszków stał się miejscem zamieszkania ludności napływowej i dwukrotnie zwiększył zaludnienie w porównaniu z rokiem 1939.
Do zabytków należą klasycystyczne budynki z I połowy XIX wieku: dwór i oficyna (obecnie „pałac ślubów”), wozownia (obecnie Muzeum Starożytnego Hutnictwa Mazowieckiego). Park miejski ze stawami, to dawny park dworski z początku XIX wieku. Struktura urbanistyczna Miasta składa się z kamienic i bloków mieszkalnych oraz osiedli domów jednorodzinnych, licznych parków, ogrodów i skwerów. Dwa neogotyckie kościoły z początku XX wieku oraz obiekty zabytkowe są świadectwem świetności, która trwa do czasów obecnych.
Gmina miejska Pruszków jest zlokalizowana w zachodniej części województwa mazowieckiego, na obszarze aglomeracji warszawskiej, w powiecie pruszkowskim. Miasto położone jest w odległości ok. 15 km od granic Warszawy. Pełni funkcje miasta powiatowego, z licznymi instytucjami, organami administracji publicznej, jednostkami służby zdrowia i opieki społecznej, instytucjami szkolnictwa, kultury i sportu.

To jest moja lista Top 10 hoteli tureckich w regionie Riwiery Tureckiej. Bez względu na to, który hotel wybierzecie, jestem pewien, że spędzicie niezapomniane wakacje, ciesząc się słońcem, morzem i niezrównaną gościnnością turecką. A teraz, kto ma ochotę na wakacje? ????✨

Arrival in Warsaw from Pruszkow
This is the arrival in Warsaw from a south westerly direction from Pruszków.
The W204-series C-class has been on sale since the beginning of 2008. It has a very nice six-speed manual gearbox or the optional 7G-Tronic seven-speed auto.
This version is a sport model with a huge Mercedes badge in the centre of the grille, as in some of the 190 series so beloved by me.
Sitting in the driving seat you have everything where you want it but there are a couple of faults from the point of view of vision. Between 80kmph and 140kmpgh I could not see what speed I was going at without moving my body because the indicator needle is so small. Also I cannot see if the lights are on because the indicator is on the light switch which is hidden by the steering wheel.
The steering response is very keen and suspension excellent with the AMG sports package. I have heard comments to the contrary that the ride can be hard but that was not my experience and I was driving it over some pretty poor roads as can be seen in the film. No doubt the suspension is even better without the AMG sports package. Of course the firm seats Mercedes provides help also.
I did not try crashing it but the last-generation C scored a five-star result in the Euro NCAP crash tests, and this one should do the same. It's comprehensively equipped with all the latest technology to protect its occupants in the event of an impact. Somehow one does not feel vulnerable with all the electronic toys including stability control, trailer stabilisation, tyre pressure monitoring and emergency braking lights not to mention seven airbags and a structure that just feels. a Mercedes!!
This model comes in at around EUR30,000 and no doubt much more in the UK! So it is not cheap. But you know that you have something that will last twenty years if it comes to that. Or a good resale value in a few years if it does not.
The car returns around eight litres to 100km in mixed driving. Here I am on the snow so the gear is lower than it would be normally. Maybe in the summer it is better!
There is 1,500 litres of space with the rear seats down or 485 with them up and the tailgate is powered! However Mercedes made an error here the back of the seats fall onto the base and so they are not quite flat unless some great weight is upon them. Why could not they have put it slide and drop seats thus giving that little bit extra room and a flat floor for our luggage? (Or in my case piles of magazines.)
This is the best car I have ever driven. Some small points so it does not quite make ten out of ten but it comes close.

The W204-series C-class has been on sale since the beginning of 2008. It has a very nice six-speed manual gearbox or the optional 7G-Tronic seven-speed auto.
This version is a sport model with a huge Mercedes badge in the centre of the grille, as in some of the 190 series so beloved by me.
Sitting in the driving seat you have everything where you want it but there are a couple of faults from the point of view of vision. Between 80kmph and 140kmpgh I could not see what speed I was going at without moving my body because the indicator needle is so small. Also I cannot see if the lights are on because the indicator is on the light switch which is hidden by the steering wheel.
The steering response is very keen and suspension excellent with the AMG sports package. I have heard comments to the contrary that the ride can be hard but that was not my experience and I was driving it over some pretty poor roads as can be seen in the film. No doubt the suspension is even better without the AMG sports package. Of course the firm seats Mercedes provides help also.
I did not try crashing it but the last-generation C scored a five-star result in the Euro NCAP crash tests, and this one should do the same. It's comprehensively equipped with all the latest technology to protect its occupants in the event of an impact. Somehow one does not feel vulnerable with all the electronic toys including stability control, trailer stabilisation, tyre pressure monitoring and emergency braking lights not to mention seven airbags and a structure that just feels. a Mercedes!!
This model comes in at around EUR30,000 and no doubt much more in the UK! So it is not cheap. But you know that you have something that will last twenty years if it comes to that. Or a good resale value in a few years if it does not.
The car returns around eight litres to 100km in mixed driving. Here I am on the snow so the gear is lower than it would be normally. Maybe in the summer it is better!
There is 1,500 litres of space with the rear seats down or 485 with them up and the tailgate is powered! However Mercedes made an error here the back of the seats fall onto the base and so they are not quite flat unless some great weight is upon them. Why could not they have put it slide and drop seats thus giving that little bit extra room and a flat floor for our luggage? (Or in my case piles of magazines.)
This is the best car I have ever driven. Some small points so it does not quite make ten out of ten but it comes close.

We start our walk next to the Poznań Citadel and head towards the St. Wojciech. On the way, we pass the Monument to the Poznań Army and the Cemetery of Merit of Greater Poland. On St. Wojciech we see two historic churches. Further along St. Wojciech, we come to Małe Garbary Street which we cross and we come to Rabbi Akiwa Egerav Square, next to the former Synagogue building. The next streets are: Wroniecka, Mokra, Żydowska, Dominikańska, Szewska. We stop for a moment between Wielka and Woźna streets to admire the beautiful courtyard. Further along Ślusarka, Wodna and Klasztorna Streets we reach the courtyard between the City Hall and the Collegiate Basilica. We enter the interior of the Basilica for a moment, and finally, along Świętosławska Street, we reach the Old Market Square.
