A Few Days In PRILEP | Macedonia's Best BBQ Food? ????????
The Macedonian city of Prilep is bloody fantastic ????????
We had a few days to explore this gorgeous city that for some reason tourists don't seem to visit.
We ate some of the greatest food we had in Macedonia here including super tasty homecooked food at a local restaurant out of town aswell as trying the 'shirden' which is a Prilep speciality. They say Prilep city has the best BBQ food in Macedonia and i might have to agree.
The day after we also tried to walk up Markos towers for an epic view over Prilep, but we got lost on the way up, died from the intense heat and decided to settle halfway where the views were still stunning. Overall we loved Prilep its highly underrated and we would come back anytime its super chilled out and the people were all lovely to us.

We invite you to watch our #43 film - it will be a Sunday afternoon bicycle trip around the extremely quiet town of Prilep. It is the fourth largest city in Macedonia and is located in the southwestern part of the country. The city has a rich history dating back to ancient times. Prilep was an important commercial and cultural center in the Roman and Byzantine Empire.
In the film we visit some of Prilep's most popular tourist attractions, including the Old Town, which is surrounded by defensive walls from the 14th century. There are many historic buildings within the walls, including churches, a mosque burned down in 2001, and a synagogue.
We will also visit the old charshia, a traditional bazaar district with a tangle of narrow streets.
The film uses shots taken in Prilep in July 2023.

Zapraszamy na nasz #43 film - będzie to niedzielna, popołudniowa wycieczka rowerowa po niezwykle spokojnym mieście Prilep. Jest czwartym co do wielkości miastem w Macedonii i położony jest w południowo-zachodniej części kraju. Miasto ma bogatą historię, sięgającą czasów starożytnych. Prilep był ważnym ośrodkiem handlowym i kulturalnym w Imperium Rzymskim i Bizantyjskim.
W filmie odwiedzimy niektóre z najpopularniejszych atrakcji turystycznych Prilepu, w tym Stare Miasto, które jest otoczone murami obronnymi z XIV wieku. W obrębie murów znajduje się wiele zabytkowych budynków, w tym kościoły, spalony w 2001 r. meczet i synagoga.
Odwiedzimy również starą czarsziję czyli tradycyjną dzielnicę bazarowa z plątaniną wąskich uliczek.
W filmie wykorzystano ujęcia wykonane w Prilepie w lipcu 2023 r.

Ве покануваме да го погледнете нашиот филм #43 - тоа ќе биде неделно попладне велосипедско патување околу исклучително мирниот град Прилеп. Тој е четврти по големина град во Македонија и се наоѓа во југозападниот дел на земјата. Градот има богата историја која датира од античко време. Прилеп бил важен трговски и културен центар во Римската и Византиската империја.
Во филмот ги посетуваме некои од најпопуларните прилепски туристички атракции, меѓу кои и Стариот град, кој е опкружен со одбранбени ѕидини од 14 век. Во ѕидовите има многу историски градби, вклучувајќи цркви, џамија изгорена во 2001 година и синагога.
Ќе ја посетиме и старата чаршија, традиционална чаршиска населба со плетка од тесни улички.
