Today we are taking the rapid express train to Prachuap Khiri Khan in Western Thailand. This train was an interesting experience and certainly faster than the other train option which would of added around 2 hours to our journey. Kui Buri National Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand | Must Visit Place | Travellers | Alissa & Jay
We just came from an exhausting hike climbing through the hills of a cave up and down under the scorching sun, so this drizzling rain was super refreshing! Driving through these beautiful village roads still paved into neat highway roads was absolutely refreshing!
In this video, we will be exploring Deep into Kui Buri National Park with the help of park rangers. The weather was not our friend. It started raining as we reached the national park and so the wildlife did not visit their feeding area.
It was an absolutely amazing trip and we enjoyed it a lot while still drenched in rain. It is a must-visit place for any wildlife watchers.

Today we're talking about a narrow land of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
When you saw a map of Thailand, you might noticed the narrow land in the middle.
With the width of 10 km, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province is the narrowest place in Thailand, connecting Southern Thailand with the rest of the country.
In addition, the province is a vital land connector between Chao Phraya basin and Malay Peninsula, enabling Siam to become a dominating power in Malay Peninsula until the early 20th Century.

Prachuap Khiri Khan - Beach and Old Town
Prachuap Khiri Khan ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ is a town in southern Thailand. It is the capital of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and is on the coast at one of the narrowest stretches in Thailand, only 10 kilometres from the border with Myanmar at Dan Sing Khon in the Tenasserim Hills. The area has large pineapple and coconut industries, in addition to being popular with Thai tourists. The town is about 300 km south of Bangkok by road.
Prachuap Khiri Khan is home to a Royal Thai Air Force base, and was an invasion point for Japanese troops on 8 December 1941, during World War II. A commemoration is held each December to honour the 38 Thai airmen and civilians who died in the fighting against the Japanese 143rd Infantry Regiment in the Battle of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The area has a feel of Thailand from years past. It still maintains the feel of the sleepy fishing village while still providing anything that a modern traveler could want.

Ao Manao Beach อ่าวมะนาว - Best Beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan - Thailand
Ao Manao อ่าวมะนาว meaning Lime Bay, is a bay in the west side of the Gulf of Thailand. It is five kilometres to the south of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The bay lies south of Prachuap Bay. It is open towards the east and is bounded by steep limestone outcrops forming peninsulas to the north and to the south. There are two islands in the bay, Ko Lueam about 3.6 km offshore and smaller Ko Aen, about 1.5 km off the beach within the bay.
Ao Manao is a great beach which is a popular tourist destination. It can be reached by road through the Wing 5 Royal Thai Air Force base.
The beach is one of my favorite beaches on the east coast of Thailand. With it being on the air force base it is a super clean beach. The back of the beach is also lined with plenty of shade trees making it a great place to relax. With the popularity of the beach there are many food options as well.
I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed.

Khao Chong Krajok in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand
The sweeping views of sea, sand and sky meeting from atop Khao Chong Krajok will stay with visitors for its memorable natural beauty, making this a must-visit spot.
The mountain of Khao Chong Krajok is the place to drink in the stunning Prachuap coastline that lays curling elegantly into the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Visitors must climb to its peak via a flight of stairs, from which they can enjoy shifting views of the lush province’s interior, it’s beautiful beach and the town of Prachuap itself. Along the way they are sure to be delighted, and certainly amused, by the mountain’s resident troop of playful monkeys.
Those who do make the ascent will find it well worth it. Aside from the unparalleled perspective the peak offers, Khao Chong Krajok is the home to a mountaintop monastery founded by Rama VI and an elegant golden pagoda. Visitors can admire the traditional architecture and styling at the same time as the view, which stretches all the way to Thailand’s border with Burma.
The unbroken panorama is also notably uninterrupted by crowds of visitors, the province of Prachuap Khiri Kan being relatively free of tourists. This makes Khao Chong Krajok, located in the North of Prachuap city, especially tranquil and relaxing – all the better for enjoying the view!
