This is the region located south of the Petite Côte du Senegal , just north of The Gambia. It is known for the beauty of its landscapes , which can be admired in the Sine-Saloum National Park , a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The park stretches around the Sine Saloum delta , the point of confluence of two rivers (the Sine and the Saloum, logical is not it?) With the sea. It is a very special region due to the countless small islands formed by rivers and the ecosystem that reigns there: this mixture of freshwater and seawater is suitable for only a few plant species and is therefore the kingdom of the mangrove , this kind of forest growing in maritime marshes and characterised in particular by the mangroves that grow there.

Il y’a quelques semaines, j’ai embarqué dans le Piper Saratoga PA-32 pour un baptême de l’air. Nous avons sillonné le lac rose, l’île de Gorée, le port de Dakar, la baie de Hann, le phare de mamelles, la mosquée de la divinité et le monument de la renaissance. Une belle expérience lors de laquelle le pilote par passion @birame m’a beaucoup appris :
-Tout avion qui décolle doit forcément envoyer un plan de vol qui devra être validé;
-Aucune piste ne peut être pénétrée sans l’autorisation de la tour de contrôle;
-Les bruits de l’avion à l’atterrissage et au décollage sont dus au fait qu’à cause des habitations qui sont à côté de la piste, le vent ne circule pas de façon linéaire... bref beaucoup d’autres choses que vous pourrez découvrir en regardant la vidéo que je viens de mettre sur YouTube. Oui j’en ai profité pour l’interviewer histoire d’en savoir plus sur sa passion et les activités de @flightsn (lien dans ma bio)
J’avais aussi reçu une panoplie de messages de certains d’entre vous qui voudraient essayer l’expérience. A few weeks ago, I boarded the Piper Saratoga PA-32 for a dakar tour. We crossed the pink lake, Gorée island, dakar port, the bay of Hann, the lighthouse of Mamelles, the divinity mosque and monument de la renaissance. A great experience I’ve learned a lot from the passionate pilot @birame :
-Any plane that takes off must necessarily send a flight plan which must be validated; -No runway can be entered without permission from the control tower;
-The noises of the plane on landing and take-off are due to the fact that the wind isn’t linear because of the houses which are next to the runway, ...Many other things than you can find out by watching the video I just posted on YouTube. Yes I took the opportunity to interview him to find out more about his passion and @flightsn's activities (link in my bio).
