OLLON VALLEY | The Switzerland of Indonesia | Sulawesi cinematic
We arrived at the rich cultural place of Sulawesi, Tana Toraja, Rantepao. Luckily we found out about the hidden gem, called Ollon Valley, a very secret place for tourists. We knew for sure, that we need to visit & discover this place. We would call it the switzerland of indonesia. Here we are with our sulawesi cinematic video!
For us, this is one of the most beautiful and scenic places we have ever been. According to what we've heard out of Rantepao, no foreign tourists have ever travelled to this place before. It took us a 4h motorbike tour to reach this secret place. 2,5h on normal pathed way. Then 0,5h on bumpy roads. And then you have like 1h of action styled offroad path for 10km, hilly with deep holes, bumps, stones and loads of mud, very hard to drive, even for experienced drivers. It was a great adventure! The most UNDERATED LAKE in INDONESIA - LAKE POSO | Motor Travel Indonesia ???????? [S2-E40]
We are Natalie (Swiss) and Ryan (Indonesian), a couple that is traveling Indonesia with our motorcycles Kawasaki KLX 150 (Greeny) and KLX 250 (Mandara).
SULAWESI
In this episode, we traveled from Batu putih in South East Sulawesi to the lake Poso in Central Sulawesi. Unfortunately Ryan`s motorcycle Mandara needed to get fixed and we had to stay over night in Tomoni. And again, the Biker Community in Tomoni (MEMC and Blanksack) caught us and we were hanging out with them for the whole evening. The next day, we were riding along lake Poso and we were amazed, the area is totally not populated and we got to enjoy the beautiful nature. We settled right next to the lake at Bali Cottages, where we put our tent.
