Ferrara (2024) is a Renaissance city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural importance. Ferrara is a city in the region of Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy. It is located at the Po di Volano River and has a population of 132,000. The historic centre is situated around Viale Cavour. Some Highlights are the San Benedetto Abate Church, the impressive Castle Estense, the Corso Martiri della Libertà, the Certosa of Ferrara, the Piazza Ariostea, the Ferrara Cathedral, the City Theatre and the Monumental Water Tower.

Hello friends. In this short video I am going to show you the arrival and customs process and some important airport information about Milan airport. I was catching a flight to Istanbul on a different airline so I was told to go through immigration and customs and recheck myself in with the different airline in the departure lounge. I had to do that because I was holding two seperate tickets. If you have only one tickets but it is valid for two different airlines then may not have to go outside to the departure lounge. I hope you guys will like this video.

L'autostrada A13 Bologna-Padova, oppure Autostrada Euganea, collega Bologna a Padova passando per Ferrara e Rovigo. È lunga 116,7 km.
Nelle vicinanze dei due estremi del percorso autostradale si trovano due tra i più grandi interporti italiani, quelli di Bologna e di Padova. Sono obbligatorie le dotazioni invernali dal 15 novembre al 15 aprile su tutta la tratta.
Il primo tratto dellʾautostrada, da Bologna a Ferrara Sud, venne aperto al traffico il 22 dicembre 1966.
Il 10 agosto 1968 venne aperto il tronco da Ferrara Sud a Ferrara Nord. Il 7 agosto dell'anno successivo seguì il tratto da Boara a Padova.
È stata inoltre la prima autostrada su cui è stata sperimentata la segnaletica antinebbia.
Un suo prolungamento da Padova a Treviso, e successivamente verso Tarvisio, fu ipotizzato già nel 1964 ma non ebbe seguito.
È prevista, con il D.M. Italia Veloce, la costruzione della terza corsia nella tratta Padova Sud - Monselice Sud (casello di nuova costruzione).
Il tragitto ha origine dalla tangenziale del capoluogo emiliano, che unisce anche le autostrade A1 (Milano-Napoli) e A14 (Bologna-Taranto), mentre ha termine a Padova con l'intersezione con l'autostrada A4 (Torino-Trieste).
Il suo percorso si snoda tutto nella pianura padana e attraversa due regioni, l'Emilia-Romagna e il Veneto. Le uniche alture nelle vicinanze sono quelle rappresentate dai colli Euganei, famosa zona termale con al centro Abano Terme. Proprio per le caratteristiche morfologiche del terreno attraversato, nella stagione invernale è spesso invasa dalla nebbia che determina una visibilità molto scarsa.
La gestione è di competenza della società Autostrade per l'Italia.
All'altezza di Ferrara Sud è presente uno svincolo autostradale per Porto Garibaldi, sul mare Adriatico, che nel primo tratto tra il casello Ferrara Sud e l'incrocio con la Strada Statale 16 è competenza di Autostrade per l'Italia, e tra quest'incrocio e la SS 309 Romea competenza ANAS. Attualmente il cosiddetto Raccordo autostradale 8 fino a Porto Garibaldi è equipollente a una superstrada senza pedaggio, ma è stata manifestata l'intenzione di trasformarla in autostrada a pagamento nel futuro prossimo.
Questa autostrada è stata scelta, unitamente alla A4 e alla A14, per testare i nuovi dispositivi di misurazione della velocità media (Tutor) in funzione dalla fine del 2005. Il primo portale, in direzione Bologna, è situato poco prima dell'uscita per Occhiobello, il secondo, che calcola la velocità media rispetto al primo, poco prima dell'uscita Ferrara Nord.

The ALn 663 railcars are a family of light railway rolling stock of the State Railways and other railways in diesel-powered concession , produced from 1983 to 1995 by FIAT Ferroviaria Savigliano and still in service.
In 1983 FIAT Ferroviaria Savigliano decided to build a railcar starting from the base of the ALn 668, but with a more modern approach. The new railcar was designed with 63 seats including 12 first class and 51 second class.
From a mechanical point of view, the ALn 663 are identical to the ALn 668 series 1200-3000-3100 and can reach a maximum speed of 130 km / h. They are characterized by a more angular shape of the front, by the provision of new headlamps with four recessed headlights, two with white light and two with red light, replacing the round ones of the ALn 668 group, in which a red glass had to be placed on those who at that moment were in the tail. The control desk has been redesigned to integrate the controls relating to the third coupled unit, while the interiors have been completely renovated by adopting the furnishings of the Medium Distances carriages with central vestibules (MDVC), while maintaining the distance between the seats unchanged for structural reasons.
Starting in the early 1980s , these railcars were widely introduced on many lines of the state network. Many concessionary companies also bought some specimens, for which some models were seen circulating on the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo railway , on the four of the Società Veneta ( Bologna-Portomaggiore , Udine-Cividale , Adria-Mestre and Parma-Suzzara ), on the Suzzara – Ferrara , on the Alifana and on the Ferrara – Codigoro . The Umbrian Central Railway , in view of the completion of connections on theDirettissima Roma-Orte , instead opted for an enhanced version, which took the name of ALn 776 and allows you to reach 150 km / h.
Like the ALn 668, they have relatively low operating and maintenance costs. Their production ended in 1995 , twelve years after the launch of the first models.
There are some examples of long-distance trains operated by ALn 663 and ALn 668. As of 2010 FER uses them on the Cremona - Mantua - Pesaro route, while Trenitalia uses them on the Rome – Cassino – Venafro – Campobasso – Termoli route.

Trenitalia is the primary train operator in Italy. A subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, itself owned by the Italian government, it was established in 2000 following a European Union directive on the deregulation of rail transport.
Trenitalia offers national rail transport in Italy and international connections to Austria, France, Germany, and Switzerland. The company operates both regional and long-distance trains.
Regional trains travel within an Italian region or between neighboring Italian regions, and are subsidized by local government at the regional level by Contratto di servizio. Regional trains stop at more stations than other long-distance trains, and some stop at all stations. Regionale veloce (fast regional train) are trains stopping at about half of stations.
Long-distance trains are of mainly of two types: the Frecce (arrows) and Intercity trains.
Intercity trains also serve medium-sized cities besides the big cities, thus are generally slower but are cheaper than the Frecce.
Night trains (Intercity night) operate mainly between north and south of Italy and between Italy and its neighbouring countries and are comparable to Intercity level.
