Bulacan is a province in the Philippines, located in the Central Luzon Region (Region III) in the island of Luzon, 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Manila (the nation's capital), and part of the Metro Luzon Urban Beltway Super Region. Bulacan lies in the southern portion of the fertile plains of Central Luzon. The area is drained by the Angat and Pampanga rivers. The Sierra Madre mountain range forms the highlands of Bulacan in the east and is a protected area known as the Angat Watershed Forest Reserve. This vlog features Bawbawon Beach Resort that is located in Plaridel, Province of Misamis Occidental. The said resort just opened last Aug. 29, 2020.
This beach resort offers an island tour package worth
(P 4,799.00/pax for a group of 6) and is inclusive of:
☑️ welcome drinks at Le Bistro
☑️ boat transfers to and from the island, life vests provided
☑️ cabana with picnic table
☑️ picnic lunch in a food basket (bilao)
They also offer water sports activities like snorkeling (just bring your own snorkel), kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding.
Bawbawon Beach Resort has 6 cabanas where guests stay and have their lunch. It also has 1 cabana for massage. If you want to have a complete island experience, you should try their massage service.
As of Sep. 12, 2020 (the date of our tour), guests are not yet allowed to stay overnight in the island.

Located less than a kilometer off the shores of Plaridel, Misamis Occidental is a hidden haven of a long stretch white sand, beautiful corals and lavish mangroves – the Bawbawon Island.
Bawbawon (or Baobawon) Island is an island is an island composed of islets. The island got its name from the shallow water around it. In the local dialect, “bawbawon” or ‘baobaoan” means shallow.
With the lush flora of mangroves all over the place, one can say that Bawbawon Island is also a sanctuary of rich marine biodiversity. Here, you can enjoy snorkeling and marvel at the spectacles of different corals or swim your heart out in the depths of its clear waters. You can also just take a walk along its shoreline as the towering coconut trees give you a salty breeze of fresh, castaway air.

Discovering Baobaon Island ( Plaridel Misamis Occidental)
Baobaon Island Marine Sanctuary is located at Plaridel Misamis Occidental. I popped down to this island along with my friends. To get to this island we drove from Ozamis City, fare is 100 Php and drop off to Plaridel or simply ask the driver to drop you off anyways they know the place though. Its a lovely place with mangrove planted along the seaside but this time we rode a pumpboat to get to this place since their footbridge is damaged.Its a 10 minute drive from national highway.

This vlog features a dam which is located in Barangay Tipolo, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental. The said dam was recently featured in the TV show of Ms. Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Rated Korina. The title of the uploaded YouTube video of the episode that featured the said dam is Dam ng Kamatayan. Yes, some locals in Plaridel call this dam as Dam ng Kamatayan (Dam of Death) because of some tragic incidents that took place in the area.
