Tampere, the third-largest city in Finland, is known for its vibrant cultural scene, stunning lakes, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. It's no wonder that it's a popular tourist destination for people seeking to explore the city's unique charm.

We love to spend our time exploring Tampere. We start our tour with a visit to Ravintola Puisto. Which is a unique restaurant located in the heart of Tampere. This restaurant is known for its delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings.

One of the unique features of Ravintola Puisto is its location. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful park, surrounded by trees and nature. During the summer months, diners can enjoy their meals outside on the restaurant's terrace, basking in the warm sunshine and enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Overall, Ravintola Puisto is a fantastic restaurant that combines delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Tampere.

After Puisto we headed to Kauppahalli, which is located in the heart of the city. Here, we can indulge in some of our favorite Finnish delicacies, such as smoked salmon, reindeer meat, and traditional Karelian pies.

From Kauppahalli we moved to Kesäkeidas, which is a vibrant and lively outdoor terrace located in the heart of Tampere' central square. This terrace is a popular spot during the summer months, thanks to its delicious food, refreshing drinks, and fun atmosphere. The terraces' outdoor seating area is spacious and surrounded by trees, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city center and there is 8 different restaurants to choose from.

After finishing our drinks at Kesäkeidas we walked to Periscope. Periscope is a unique restaurant located in 6th and 7th floor in Ratina shopping mall . It's a popular spot among locals and visitors alike, thanks to its delicious menu, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere.

Periscope's interior is modern and stylish, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The restaurant's open kitchen adds to the ambiance, allowing diners to watch as their meals are prepared by the skilled chefs.

One of the highlights of Periscope is its rooftop terrace, which offers panoramic views of the city. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a meal, especially on warm summer evenings.

In addition to its impressive food and atmosphere, Periscope also offers excellent service. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to recommend dishes or pairings.

Overall, Periscope is a fantastic restaurant that combines excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. It's no wonder that it's a favorite among those looking for a special dining experience in Tampere.

Afterward, we headed to the Pyynikki Observation Tower, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We love to grab a cup of coffee and a doughnut at the tower's café and enjoy the scenery.
