Shenhua Town, which belongs to Yuzhou City, Henan Province, is located in the southwest of Yuzhou City, connected with Hongchang Town in the east, adjacent to Anliang Town of Jia County, Pingdingshan City in the south, bordering with Mill Street Township in the west, and adjacent to Wenshu Town in the north, and is the southwest sub-center of Yuzhou City, a national historical and cultural town, a cultural and creative R&D center of Jun porcelain in China, and a cultural and tourism town led by Jun porcelain culture and creativity. The area is 49.1 square kilometers, with a registered population of 48,000 and a resident population of 73,000 as of March 2020.
Shenchai has a long history, as early as the Xia and Shang dynasties, the ancestors here were engaged in farming and pottery smelting. In the second year of Chenghua of the Ming Dynasty (1466), it belonged to Hong Changdu of Junzhou. In the Qing Dynasty, it was part of the Wenfengli of Yuzhou, and in 1968, it was called the Shenhao Commune, and in July 1981, it was renamed Shenhao Town. Yangshuo - Most Beautiful Place in China?
Took a little trip from Chongqing to Guilin, then had a driver take us from Guilin to Yangshuo! I never knew how popping this place has become! It was truly a beautiful place and I wish we had more time to experience it all.
Besides hitting my head and getting sick on the last night, the trip was amazing and I would do it again in a heart beat! Perhaps during the off-season next time...
