So much to see and do in the town of Bang Man Nak, another amazing day that turned into many in Thailand.
Plenty of temples including a Chinese one.
Head North in Thailand from Bangkok to see the old buildings, real Thailand, real culture and real cities. I'm your travel vlogger that will path the way for you.
Here you find lots of bars, restaurants, market stores, nice river and many old buildings that are 200 years old
Artcharee went to a popular meditation area, she meditated from 6am to 10pm ????
This genuinely was one of the best places I been to in Thailand but I love going to random towns and exploring them, this one had so much to offer. I will say though, you need a vehicle, there is zero pavements/sidewalks and walking around can be very dangerous
You can get a straight train from Bangkok to Bang ManNak if you're interested in visiting, it's a 4 hour drive from Bangkok.
I'll remember it as one of my best world places

Travel vlog of resort in Bang Mun Nak
Suan Khun Yai resort (Grandma's garden) is situated in Bang Mun Nak near Bangkok in Thailand
The video of the town is a must see!
Bang Mun Nak
I'm at this resort killing time or relaxing really while editing videos. You can get a straight train to Bang Mun Nak station so although it's off the beaten track to tourists, it's not hard to get to from Bangkok.
We were travelling during covid but covid hadn't made it to Thailand yet, still it was very quiet.
When people go to Southeast Asia; Thailand is a must, but they often go south to the beaches and don't see proper Thailand to the north of Bangkok
Or the hotel resort has car parking per every bed so it's easy for holiday vacations from Bangkok when you have a vehicle
The resort is a perfect place to host events like weddings and celebrations or just come to relax like me.
It even has a little zoo.
Food is normally served here but due to a dip in tourists during covid they were not serving it while I was there
I spent the day here while Artcharee meditated in a big meditation place nearby.
Many people come for this reason too.
She meditated from 6am to 10pm ????????
So much to see and do in the town as well.

If you haven't lived in or visited a Thai village, you haven't experienced traditional Thai culture. Everyone knows Thailand's famous cities like Bangkok and Chiang Mai and its well-known beaches on Phuket and Samui. Not many people, however, are aware of life in the countryside villages where most Thai live. The large cities are as westernized as you can get, but still, a more straightforward, older, and more colorful rural life exists in the villages worth examining. This video will first introduce the geography and administrative structure of Thailand. After briefly discussing life in the cities, it will describe in more detail life in the villages and the towns to which they are attached.
Formerly known as Siam, Thailand is a country about the land size of Spain located in Southeast Asia. It is bordered in the north by Myanmar (Burma) and Laos. Laos and Cambodia are to the east of Thailand. To the south lie Malaysia and the Gulf of Thailand, while the Andaman Sea and Myanmar are to the west.
Village life in Thailand is much different from life in the cities just as it was when I was growing up near a farming village in the 1950s. The average Thai village has approximately 100 families with a population of around 600. Most of the residents are engaged in agriculture. In taking my wife's home village as an example, almost all of the houses are two-story wooden structures on stilts. Traditionally, the farmers kept livestock such as chickens, ducks, pigs, and farm equipment on the first level under the second level where the family lived. Nowadays, the open area on the first level has been enclosed and made into living areas for the family. In many of the older houses, there is no indoor plumbing, and one must use different styles of outhouses with both squat and sit-down commodes. Many homes also don't have showers. The traditional way of showering is by scooping some water from a container from a large storage urn and then throwing it on your body. Most villagers have about one acre of land on the side and in the back of their houses where they have gardens and fruit orchards. Agricultural land for the growing of rice, sugar cane, potatoes, and now lately rubber trees is found usually 1-2 kilometers from the village

Wer kennt denn Phichit in Thailand?
Obwohl ich in Thailand ziemlich viel rumreiste, kann ich mich nicht erinnern je von der Provinz Phichit gehört zu haben. Ursprünglich wollten wir in Phitsanulok übernachten, ich entschloss mich dann allerdings weiter in Richtung Nakhon Ratchasima zu fahren. Kho Sai liegt in der Provinz Phichit und wir übernachteten im Baan Suan Resort, einer sehr schönen Anlage wie ich finde. Wir machten einen Streifzug durch das kleine Dorf, in dem es noch gut erhaltene Holzhäuser gibt. Die Ortschaft machte einen noch ursprünglichen Eindruck auf mich, auf dem Markt ging es dann allerdings recht hektisch und laut zu.
