In this epic adventure, I take you on the bustling streets of Caracas and through the beautiful beach towns of Morrocoy to see how many things I could purchase with $10 USD, which at the time I made this video, was 14.7 MILLION Venezuelan Bolivares... Right now, $10 USD is equal to 22 million Bolivares, it's absolutely crazy.
Despite Venezuela's economic crisis and massive hyperinflation, the cost of everyday items is getting more expensive, which makes it even harder for the local people to afford basic things like bread and water. It's really sad, and I hope the situation gets better because Venezuelans are some of the warmest and most hospitable people I've ever met. More to come soon from Venezuela!

Nobody Visits This Country Anymore ( Find Out Why ) ????????
???????? Venezuela, the name conjures images of a country synonymous with economic collapse and violence. But is that reputation deserved or is there another side to the country that the media don't show? Well, despite being nervous for my safety and that of my camera, I flew into Caracas on my own to investigate. Oh, and whilst there of course I had to visit the infamous Petare barrio, known as Venezuela's most dangerous hood. Would I survive? Join me and find out. Vamos a Caracas chamos!

I decided to visit Petare in Caracas Venezuela, this is considered the most dangerous hood on earth during it's peak. The notorious favelas wrap around the city of Caracas however Petare is the single biggest one in all Latin America and per capita the homicide capital of the world during it's peak. I went there to meet the people of Petare and have a few beers. Night time slowly caught up to me faster than the beers but luckily there were some nice Venezuelan women who rescued me that evening...

Visiting Venezuela. Dangerous and destroyed? Or ready for travellers?
Is Venezuela ready for visitors? I've come to find out. In this series I travel to islands and mountains, beaches and hotsprings, filming the good, the bad and the delicious. I filmed my experiences in January 2022, and returned in October and November 2022 to see what's changed.
Some things here are better than imagined, but life remains a struggle for many. The country is in constant flux. Information is hard to find, and some basic services don't function. Independent travel is challenging but rewarding.
In this series I'll visit the capital Caracas, Isla Margarita, Canaima and Salto Angel, the Merida mountains, Morrocoy marine park, Colonia Torvar, Barquisimeto, the Cascada del Vino and more.
