Así vive la gente en un barrio pobre en Cuba. Vamos a ver qué comen en la calle, cómo ganan su dinero para sobrevivir, si es peligroso, cómo es la comida callejera, como son las casas y otras cosas más que hace rato no ves o quizás, nunca hallas visto.
Esta vez estamos en la provincia de Matanzas, dónde se encuentra Varadero que posiblemente sea el lugar más famoso de Cuba, pero visitaremos el barrio de Versalles, uno de los menos favorecidos de esa provincia.

Varadero to Havana the long way.
Visit some of the Towns in Cuba with me as Go Daddio TV goes from Varadero via the Back Route to Havana, I recommend this route if you want to see more than most do on vacation here. See the tags for the Map, spend a full day in Matanzas to properly see it on your way back to the Airport.
Travel along as we, Katia my Tour Guide/Translator and Alejandro our Driver, go from Cardenas, Jovellanos, Pedro Betancourt, Nueva Paz, Guines, San Jose de las Lajas and many villages you can see on yet unposted dash cam video before arriving in Havana.
I took a few days planning this route before I left, I didn't want to do the usual Tourist Traps and didn't want to do a Bus Tour where I'm on someone's schedule other than my own.
It was well worth the $7,200C.U.P.+tip for the 6hr. private Tour from Varadero to Havana, local Cubans were surprised to see a Turista visiting their little Town.

Congreso Internacional de Patrimonio Cultural del 3 al 5 de mayo 2023
Este encuentro reúne a investigadores, estudiantes, promotores y gestores culturales, miembros de instituciones públicas y comunidades en general, para reflexionar sobre los desafíos que representa la gestión del Patrimonio Cultural, especialmente en el ámbito latinoamericano y caribeño.
Durante el congreso se abordarán diversas temáticas, como la legislación para la protección del Patrimonio Cultural, el impacto del cambio climático, la museología y museografía, la salvaguardia del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial, el patrimonio arqueológico y subacuático, las políticas de gestión del Patrimonio Cultural, el Patrimonio Mundial Cultural y Natural, el Patrimonio y el turismo, entre otros temas de interés.
Además, en el marco del congreso se llevará a cabo el 19 Coloquio Internacional Ernest Hemingway, en coordinación con el Consejo Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural y el Museo Ernest Hemingway de Finca Vigía, donde se discutirán temas relacionados con la vida y obra del escritor.
Este congreso cuenta con la participación de delegados nacionales e internacionales de países como Chile, EE.UU, Sudáfrica, Angola, México, Argentina, España, Italia, Ecuador, Brasil, Venezuela, Colombia, Guatemala, Perú, Martinica y El Salvador, así como también la participación de diferentes Ministros y Ministras de Cultura pertenecientes al Grupo de los 77 y China.
Esta primera edición está dedicada a la escultora y ceramista Marta Arjona Pérez, a Antonio Núñez Jiménez, científico y espeleólogo, a la figura de Servando Cabrera Moreno, uno de los más admirados artistas de la plástica cubana, y al 110 aniversario del Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
