Chiesa Di San Francesco In Saronno Italy
The Church of San Francesco is one of the churches in Saronno. Originally it was known as the parish church of San Pietro. The current building was rebuilt in 1297 along with an adjacent monastery. The foundation of this church is probably due to Saint Anthony of Padua, while he visited Saronno on his way to Varese for the establishment of a monastery. The church has been a national monument since 1931.

Lessinia (Verona): come si separano a mano gli strati della Pietra
E' il materiale principe della montagna veronese, un prodotto della natura che accompagna da sempre la vita della Lessinia.
La pietra è stata adottata fin dall'antichità dalle popolazioni che vivevano qui. Presentandosi a strati, anche in superficie, nel tempo l'uomo ha imparato a utilizzarla in diversi mondi, funzionali alle proprie esigenze: come recinti per i pascoli, come tetto per ripararsi dalla intemperie, come limitazione delle strade, come supporto strutturale per gli interni delle case o per gli arredi.
Ebbene, gran parte di queste caratteristiche sono tuttora il riferimento di base per i cavatori e gli artigiani che lavorano la pietra della Lessinia, che ha abbellito (e continua a farlo) piazze e monumenti di diverse comunità veronesi, nazionali e internazionali.
Ma la sua versatilità, unita a un colore rosato tenue che la rende inconfondibile, negli ultimi 30 anni l'ha resa particolarmente gettonata soprattutto dal mondo del design e dell'architettura, sia interni sia esterni.
Nonostante la crisi che ha colpito il settore, i cavatori continuano a portare avanti un'attività secolare, con l'obiettivo, nel rispetto ambientale, di aiutare a raccontare un territorio anche attraverso uno dei simboli più veri di questo territorio.

Il presepe vivente in riva al fiume Sile a Santa Cristina, frazione del comune di Quinto di Treviso, nel 2009 aveva festeggiato 24 anni.
In seguito la burocrazia ed altri fattori hanno avuto il sopravento su un sito unico e raro che comunque era inserito perfettamente nel contesto agricolo e naturalistico della zona del Parco del Fiume Sile.
