On my bike again which recently had an awesome oil change. Me and Siloy, my Yamaha MT03, cruising my way to the farthest point of southern Cebu.
Santander is located 133 kilometers south of Cebu City. Actually the town is the southernmost tip of Cebu Island. Bordered by Samboan and Oslob in the north, the island of Negros (Neg. Oriental) to the south, to the east is Cebu Strait and to the west is the Tañon Strait.
Popular among travellers to and from Negros because of its ports in Liloan which offers ferry and roro trips to Sibulan, San JOse (Tampi) and also to Larena Siquijor. Many vehicles coming from Negros make a stopover in Santander's Park (Igwaron/Sanayon Park). This open space offers a view of the 4 components of Central Visayas- Cebu, Negros Oriental, Bohol and Siquijor.
Join me in my tour in and around Santander. From Barangay Pasil to Poblacion to Barangay Liloan and even the hilly Barangay of Bunlan where one can have a majestic and clearest view of Negros Island and the water that divides Cebu and Negros-the Tañon Strait.
Literally, I explored the town for beautiful spots both famous and unknown. Watch this video to know more of the Municipality of Santander.

Philippines Street Food in LAPU-LAPU City | BEST Place to Eat Street Food in CEBU!
Travelled via ship on a 2GO vessel from Manila to Cebu to explore food spots around Cebu. Went straight to Lapu-Lapu City to check out some Filipino street food in Opon Mercado (Lapu-Lapu Public Market). There were grilled meats, ice cream, grilled bananas, kikiam, pungko pungko on the side of the streets and refreshing drinks around the public market.
Also had the chance to attend Kadaugan Food Festival at the Mactan Shrine. Hotels around Mactan showcased their food offerings to the locals at an affordable price. Tried Mamen (fusion of Mami and Ramen) and some Balbacua.

CEBU, PHILIPPINES - Today I’m meeting up with my friend Carlo from @KalamiCebu and we’re going to Kuya Simo's Larangan, where they have arranged some giant seafood to cook! They specialize in fish soups known as Linarang or Nilarang. We’re going to see the entire process, and the entire feast is coming up for you right now!
Kuya Simo's Larangan ( - First of all, a huge thank you to Kuya Simo's Larangan and Jeffrey for hosting us. They went above and beyond and got some huge local fresh catch, a giant fish, giant groupers, and giant moray eels to cook the soups for the day. We also had a couple of octopus which they made adobo octopus - one of the greatest dishes of the Philippines.
After preparing the fish, they started cooking. Linarang starts with ginger and garlic and then tomatoes, tamarind for sourness, and the fresh fish. It’s a delicious fish soup that eats almost like a stew because it’s slightly thickened. They also specialize in dry pork adobo where giant chunks of pork are marinated and deep fried.
Kuya Simo's Larangan is extremely popular and when it becomes 5 or 6 pm in the evening, people start to pour in for dinner. It was an amazing environment, packed house with so many people there to eat a local Cebu dinner.

Cordova is undoubtedly a must go to place in Cebu. Located in Mactan Island, Cordova is a 3rd-class municipality in the Provine of Cebu. The town's fiesta (Dinagat Festival) is celebrated every 2nd sunday of August. Cordova is also known to be a quiet fishing village in the past. With its growing population and increasing visitors, the town is not the usual quiet town anymore. It is frequented by people from nearby cities and towns because of its seafood sold in Barangay Poblacion RoRo Port Road and also in their wet markets all-over the town. Cordova also has a flourishing tourism, with their increasing number of resorts, restaurants and hotels. One famous personality of Cordova is the late Florencio Entoy Escabas owner and founder of Entoy's Bakasihan (A seafood carenderia) which gained popularity when his eatery was featured in Netflix.
