???????? PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome to another 4K Walkaround video from Mexico, this time from Parral in Chihuahua. This video comes directly after the main Parral video. This was filmed during Semana Santa 2022 (specifically the morning of Easter Sunday) Let's walk around the city!
Parral is an awesome city, which I would say is one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico. Many will say Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende takes this title, but there are more options if you are traveling to Mexico, thinking of being an expat or moving to Mexico.
Francisco Villa (Pancho Villa) was assassinated here (a prominent general during the Mexican Revolution), it's well-known for its silver mining (Mina la Prieta), has amazing comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulches at La Gota de Miel and Dobladas everywhere (similar to quesadillas and burritos). There are tons of things to do in Parral!

???????? PARRAL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome back to another Mexico travel video! This is part 6 of my 2022 Mexico series and it comes from the AWESOME Parral in Mexico's largest state - Chihuahua! There are many cities sited as the most beautiful city in Mexico such as Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende, but could Parral be even better than Guanajuato?
In this Mexico travel vlog, we visit numerous areas, attractions and things to do in the such as Plaza Principal, Guillermo Baca, Juárez, Palacio Alvarado, the abandoned Mina la Prieta (a remnant from Parral's silver mining days), look into the history of the Mexican Revolution and Francisco 'Pancho' Villa, and sample some comida Mexicana (Mexican food) such as dulces (sweets) at La Gota de Miel (a drop of honey) and Dobladas (similar to burritos). Oh, and we get lost in the desert! CLASSIC!

???????? CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO - Welcome to another Mexico Travel video! This video is a combination of my regular style of travel vlog and my 4K Walkaround videos. I was in Chihuahua and Ciudad Cuauhtémoc in 2021 but my trip was cut short by illness and the time remaining on my 180 days so I'm back to explore Chihuahua in more detail, including Parral, Delicias, Creel, and Camargo.
In this video you will have 30 minute walk from outside the central area, through Centro, ending at the Angel monument, on the way highlighting some of the things to do in Chihuahua. What do you think Chihuahua is like? Is it another northern Mexico city full of modern buildings and no colonial architecture? Is it clean or dirty? Is it a place you would consider if you are an expat in Mexico or are thinking of moving to Mexico, instead of more popular locations such as Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende?

Is This American in Danger Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico?

???????? CREEL, CHIHUAHUA - Welcome to Part 9 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series! We are continuing our journey through the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua! We’ve been to Ciudad Juárez, Parral and Chihuahua City itself, now finally making it to the Pueblo Mágico (magical town) of Creel, the gateway to las Barrancas del Cobre (Copper Canyons) on the world-famous Chepe Express train (I used ejecutiva or business class), which, with multiple stops, ends up in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. But, is it worth it?
In this video we explore the home of the Rarámuri (Tarahumari), the indigenous people in the Creel area, have some classic comida Mexicana (Mexican food) and visit the Valles de Hongos y Ranas (Valleys of the Mushrooms and Frogs), prehistoric rock formations located on Rarámuri land. Insane!
The Chepe Express is a popular aspect of Mexico tourism. As a result, Creel is a bit ‘touristy’, but that’s part of the territory. In the next video, we board the Chepe Express to see what all the fuss is about!
If you’re thinking about traveling Mexico, being an expat, or moving to Mexico, Chihuahua is another great consideration to get away from the more popular destinations such as Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and Cancun.

???????? Is CIUDAD Juárez DANGEROUS? | Most MISUNDERSTOOD CITY in MEXICO? | Chihuahua, Mexico
???????? CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA - It's time to head back to Northern Mexico, starting with Ciudad Juárez in Chihuahua, a border city neighbouring El Paso, Texas in the USA! Is this the most underrated and misunderstood city in Mexico? As a foreigner, it's not common to see a fellow non-Mexicans who visits here, so as always, I decided to go!
Many would describe Juárez as being dangerous and not safe given its location, often associated with illegal immigration and drug trafficking at the US/Mexico border. The border wall is here for all to see. Many visitors to Mexico stick to colonial towns in the south/centre or beach towns because they have this obsession with being SAFE! Mexico has much more to offer! We have burritos, check out the famous Kentucky bar, check out el Centro, Parque Chamizal and more, including La Equis de Juarez!

This video is very much a REMAKE, incorporating points from previous videos (particularly for newer viewers, there about 20000 new viewers since I first filmed in SLP). San Luis is the home to Costanzo Chocolates, Enchiladas Potosinas and Huastecas (awesome comida Mexicana - Mexican food!) and the gateway to other spectacular destinations in the state such as Huasteca Potosina, Xilitla, the Edward James Garden, Real de Catorce, and Cerro de San Pedro, all of which I have visited in the past! There are plenty of things to do and places to visit in SLP!
San Luis is absolutely a growing Mexico tourism destination in Mexico. It’s even becoming more popular with expats or those wishing to move to Mexico. In this video we check out a number of the awesome churches and cathedrals, eat Princesas (Costanzos), visit Parque Alameda and more!
Many ask whether Mexico is safe or dangerous and as a result, stick to Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende. The fact is, SLP is just as beautiful and is absolutely a viable destination! Potosinos and Potosinas are probably some of the proudest people in Mexico and will always welcome you with open arms!

???????? LOS MOCHIS, Sinaloa - Welcome to Part 11 of my 2022 Northern Mexico Travel series! After jumping on the Chepe Express train from Creel, Chihuahua, after spending four weeks in the state in cities like Ciudad Juárez and Parral, I’m now BACK in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, after visiting here briefly in 2021 (but I was sick so couldn’t film!). It’s NOT what you’d expect from Mexico, that’s for sure!
I’m not going to lie, Los Mochis probably isn’t a city you would purposely visit on a vacation (or maybe it is), but, along with Mazatlán and Culiacán, it really does offer a lot, particularly if you are looking to experience a more modern side of Mexico, with fewer colonial buildings. Go against the toxic obligation to ONLY visit historical and pretty places in Mexico! Everywhere has history!
We visit the amazing botanical garden, centro, the old sugar refinery and have some classic fast food (not home-cooked by an abuelita and not particularly special comida mexicana at Los Nachos (mexican food) - really going against the grain here!). We also discuss safety in Mexico, particularly for women - is Sinaloa safe? Is Mexico dangerous? I’ve never had an issue in Sinaloa or felt unsafe - but I’m a single male.
If you’re hoping to be an expat or thinking about moving to Mexico, there’s more to the country than Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende! Consider northern states! They are brilliant!

???????? HERMOSILLO, SONORA - Welcome to Northern Mexico! This is part 17 of my 2022 Mexico series coming from the city of Hermosillo in Sonora! This video is the FIRST of TWO videos from Hermosillo - a 4K CITY WALKAROUND filmed in ONE CONTINUOUS SHOT in 30 MINUTES in the DOWNTOWN AREA ONLY - obviously I am unable to teleport to the other side of the city in this time. The next video is one of my regular travel videos featuring things to do in Hermosillo where we go up Cerro de la Campana, have DOGOS, and explore different areas in more detail! So don’t tell me I missed everything when many things will be in the next video! (I don’t know why this is always so difficult to comprehend LOL).
Hermosillo is really hot! It’s one of the hottest cities in Mexico. It was 41c the day I was there (105F). If you’re thinking about being an expat in Mexico, moving to Mexico, or traveling Mexico, Hermosillo may look like an average city BUT there is a lot to see and it should definitely have a more deserving status when it comes to Mexico Tourism!
I was in Sonora for over a month, based in Ciudad Obregón. I’ve also filmed videos there, in Cócorit, Esperanza, San Carlos and Guaymas. Of course there are many other places of interest to visit such as Navojoa and Alamos, as well as places further north!

En las profundidades de las Barrancas del Cobre, en el estado de Chihuahua, Batopilas es un Pueblo Mágico donde confluyen impresionantes paisajes montañosos, otrora poblados por minas de plata, con señoriales construcciones antiguas, al lado de tradiciones indígenas milenarias, escenario perfecto para el nacimiento de historias y leyendas que le brindan al lugar un toque de misterio, escondido en la majestuosidad de sus tesoros.
Descubierto por el explorador español José de la Cruz, se constituyó como una comunidad minera muy prometedora a partir de 1708, tras el hallazgo de importantes yacimientos de plata. Fue así como entre los siglos XVIII y XIX las minas de Batopilas y de La Bufa llegaron a tener renombre internacional, lo que llevó a un periodo de bonanza en el que el poblado llegó a tener más de diez mil habitantes y se erigieron construcciones como la Hacienda San Miguel y la Casa Barffuson, dignos ejemplares de la suntuosidad arquitectónica de la época.
Décadas de explotación fueron acabando con la riqueza subterránea, hasta reducir su población a poco más de un millar de personas, pero la bella dignidad del pueblo se conservó, lo que ha atraído a miles de turistas que quedan cautivados por sus haciendas y casas señoriales, sus espectaculares ríos y senderos, y sus tradiciones de origen prehispánico y católico.

???????? CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO - Welcome to Part 8 of my 2022 Mexico Travel series! Today it's time to head out into the Mexican desert to Los Picos de la Luna (the peaks of the moon) to do a crazy desert hike at the worst time possible (the middle of the day), and as always, by using the most difficult route!
Picos de la Luina is located on the northeastern periphery of Chihuahua city and can be moderately difficult depending on the conditions. I love doing a ridiculous hike and that's exactly what this video is all about - enjoying yourself!
We also have some classic Chihuahua comida mexicana (Mexican food) - Montados! A great example of the awesome Chihuahua beef on offer in the state.
If you're thinking of becoming an expat in Mexico or moving to Mexico, there are more options than Guanajuato or San Miguel de Allende. Chiuahua provides so many options and there are so many things to do or activities. You might want to consider also heading to Creel, Parral, or jumping on the Chepe Express to explore the Copper Canyons (Barrancas del Cobre).
