• Boat rental is Php 3,500 round trip shared by the number of passengers in the boat. (For 17 passengers, I paid Php 206 for my fare round trip)

Tips:
1. Go to Kalanggaman island early around 6am so you can still see the sand bar while its still low tide. There are boats going there as early as 5am.
2. Bring you own food – food and water in the island are expensive. I suggest you bring your own food and water for the whole day of activities

Badiang Beach Resort Visit 2021 located in Sitio Badiang Brgy. Lomonon, Palompon, Leyte, Philippines

Badiang Beach Resort is located in Sitio Badiang Baranggay, Lomonon and it's one of the famous Beach Resort's in Palompon, Leyte, Philippines.

Due to the hot weather, I decided to visit and chill at Badiang Resort to beat the heat along with Eda Jhean and Hannah.

Camping, swimming, swings, pools, beaches are just a few of the amenities available here at Badiang Beach Resort. They also offer some snacks and treats available for sale from the Sari Sari Store located on the property ... who wants ice cream?! ???????? There is even a kiddy pool for very small children.

You can rent paddleboats and inner tubes for swimming in the sea. There are grilling facilities available for BBQ and cooking. Lots of lounge areas to hang out around. Cottages and cabanas are also available for rent for family gatherings and parties. Play volleyball in the sea with friends. So many activities are available and on-site. Internet Wifi is available as well throughout the property.

The views are stunning. The water is crystal clear. Security cameras and Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) are also in operation to monitor the resort and keep everyone safe. A clean and safe resort to spend the day and night at.

KALANGGAMAN ISLAND | FAMILY TRIP

Kalanggaman Island, identified as one of the best islands in the Philippines, is shaped like a bird, the reason why its name is derived from the local word “langgam,” which means bird. A perfect place to relax and have fun with family and other loved ones. Since 'twas day tour, and it was high tide when we get there, we're a bit unlucky to see the whole bird shape of the island, but still worth it because of its white and crystal-like sand. You can do kayaking, snorkeling, and drone-flying.

How we get there:

???? From Tacloban, we rented a van to Palompon, Leyte and the trip took almost 4 hours.

???? We booked Derick's Travel and Tours for a day tour and buffet package because the island is a bit far from our place of origin and we don't want to bring any more food.

???? Buffet package inclusion:
- Boat Roundtrip
- Entrance Fee
- Environmental Fee
- Buffet Service Lunch
- Cottage
- Souvenir
- Fully Vaccinated Tour Guide

???? Need a vaccination card and valid IDs upon registration.

⛴️ From Palompon's Eco-Tourism Office to the island, it takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to travel.

So, if you want a place that is worthwhile and an experience like no other, visit Kalanggaman Island!
