Views of Lazio II【Flying Over Italy】Drone 4K - Scenic Relaxation

???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????? - ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????? - ???????????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? series.
A scenic relaxation film showing some of the beauties of this region. There isn't only Rome :)

Lazio is an ordinary-statute region of central Italy, with Rome as its capital. With 5.700.000 inhabitants it is the second most populated region in Italy after Lombardy, and the ninth by extension of the surface.

It borders to the north-west with Tuscany, to the north with Umbria, to the north-east with the Marche, to the east with Abruzzo and Molise, to the south-east with Campania, to the west it is bathed by the Tyrrhenian Sea . Inside there is the small enclave of the Vatican City.

In a historical and geographical sense, Lazio itself is only the territory between the lower course of the Tiber river and the Ausoni Mountains, near Terracina, and the central Apennines as the eastern limit.

Palestrina, Museo Archeologico Naziolane di Palestrina, Lacjum, Włochy

Palestrina - miasto pełne historii, wielokrotnie niszczone i odbudowywane, wojujące niegdyś zaciekle z Rzymem, a którego początki sięgają … epoki brązu!

To starożytne dzieło przedstawia pejzaż nad Nilem. Jest datowana na początek I wieku p.n.e., choć archeolodzy nie są zgodni w tej kwestii.

Palestrina

Read the translation in English:
Palestrina

Palestrina, situated on the southern face of Mount Ginestro, was one of the first settlements in Latium and has legendary origins. Originally called Preneste, it was a summer destination for emperors and Roman nobles. At the height of the town you can find the National Archaeological Museum, housed in the Colonna Barberini Palace, built on the site of the ancient Sanctuary to Fortuna Primigenia. A sculptural trio featuring Juno, Minerva and Jupiter, welcomes visitors to the museum. 16 large exhibition rooms are spread over three floors displaying precious artefacts from the excavations of the Sanctuary and nearby necropolis. There are also frescoed ceilings from the 16th and 17th centuries, partially damaged over time, as well as various types of sculpture, theatrical masks, marble reliefs, portraits, inscriptions, funeral items and votive lamps, arranged in an orderly and atmospheric display. Walking into the museum is like going back in time and it is easy to forget everyday life left at the entrance. It is lovely to know that there are still places in the world that inspire dreams.

THE LOST TEMPLE OF THE ROMAN GODDESS FORTUNA | FETTUCCINE ALFREDO MADE FAMOUS BY TWO HOLLYWOOD STARS

This week on the way back from the South of Italy we had an unplanned stop in Palestrina, a town near Rome where there is a major ancient Roman Temple dedicate to the Goddess Fortuna. The museum is hosted in the Renaissance Palazzo Barberini built on the top of the ancient Temple.
Palestrina is also the place where Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, the great Renaissance composer was born. There is also a work by Caravaggio in the Church museum but this is for another trip. There are so much treasures to see in these small Italian towns.

Back home we decided to cook a classic Italian American dish: Fettuccine Alfredo.
In Italy we call it Pasta al burro e Parmigiano but two Old Hollywood stars gave this dish a worldwide fame.
In Italy we use no cream (as it not necessary) and no garlic.

Fettucine Alfredo - Italian Fettuccine with butter and Parmigiano Reggiano

Ingredients (serves 2)

250 gr./ 9 oz Dry egg fettuccine (or 300 gr/ 10 oz - home made)
100 gr/ 1 stick of butter (I use unsalted butter)
100 gr/ 3/4 cup of grated Parmigiano Reggiano
Freshly ground pepper
Salt

Bring to the boil a large saucepan filled with water. Add salt
Put the pasta in and cut the cooking time by one minute
In a shallow pan on low heat melt the butter and add 2 tbsp of pasta water. This water contains the pasta starch and this is important to get the creamy sauce we want.
Drain the pasta and add it to the melted butter
Amalgamate and add another tbsp of pasta water if necessary
Add the grated Parmigiano and 1 coffee spoon of salt if you have used unsalted butter, keep amalgamating and add more pasta water if necessary. The sauce should have a creamy consistency.
Serve and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
It is that simple!
Enjoy.

Flying Around Rome

Flying Around Rome - Beautiful medieval cities around Rome, filmed from a drone in 4K resolution, set to the music of Trevor Kowalski, in the Lazio and Umbria regions of central Italy.
Orvieto - is a town located in the Umbria region of Italy. The town is built on a volcanic plateau and is known for its medieval architecture and well-preserved historic monuments. Orvieto is famous for many important historical monuments, including the Orvieto Cathedral, which is one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in Italy. The cathedral was built in the 14th century and has a famous fresco by Luca Signorelli that depicts the Last Judgment. The town also has other important historical monuments, such as the Papal Palace and the Pozzo di San Patrizio, a well with a unique structure built in the 16th century.

Civita di Bagnoregio, or the Dying City, is a small and picturesque town perched on a hill in the Lazio region. The long stone bridge that connects Civita di Bagnoregio to the outside world is presented impressively, as are the narrow stone streets and tufa-built houses characteristic of the area. The town is also known as the Dying City because it is in danger of collapsing due to soil erosion on the hill on which it is built.

The Sanctuary of Madonna della Mentorella is a Catholic church located in the Apennine Mountains of the Lazio region of Italy and is at an altitude of about 1300 meters, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding area. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who is venerated here under the name Madonna della Mentorella. According to tradition, in the 5th century, St. Benedict retreated to this area and spent a period of prayer and meditation here.

Capranica Prenestina - A town located on a hill in the Lazio region, the town is known for its beautiful landscapes and archaeological ruins, which are presented in beautiful drone images. Capranica Prenestina was founded in the medieval period, around the 10th century, as a fortified village. The town played an important role in the history of the Lazio region, being located on an important trade route between Rome and southern Italy. In the Renaissance period, Capranica Prenestina was an important cultural and artistic center, visited by numerous artists and writers of that time.

Palestrina - is a town in the Lazio region of Italy known for its rich history and cultural heritage. Among the most important historical monuments in Palestrina are: -Fortress Barberini - an imposing fortress built in the 16th century by the Barberini family. The fortress is located on a hill above the town and dominates the town and the surrounding area. -The National Archaeological Museum of Palestrina - located inside the Barberini Fortress, the museum houses an impressive collection of artifacts from the ancient and medieval periods, including.

San Felice Circeo - is a town located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Italy, in the Lazio region. The town has a long and rich history, having been inhabited for thousands of years. During World War II, San Felice Circeo was an important defense point for Allied forces. A bloody battle took place here between Italian and German forces, in which several buildings were destroyed. Today, San Felice Circeo is a popular tourist destination, known for its natural beauty, beautiful beaches, and rich history. The town is also known for its traditional cuisine, which includes fresh fish and seafood specialties.
