Municipality of MABITAC
- an excellent hunting grounds for wild games three centuries ago.
Maraming bitag at traps dito kaya tinawag na “Mabitag” ng mga katutubo.
- It was a part of Siniloan until 1611.
- Mabitac was also the site of a battle during the Philippine - American War in 1900.
The Filipino forces under General Juan Cailles won against the Americans
under the command of Colonel Benjamin Cheatham.
- Nagkaroon din ng Second Battle of Mabitac, na naging tagumpay din ng
mga Pilipino, laban naman sa mga Japanese Imperial forces noong 1945.
FAMY

Walking Trip Pangil River Laguna Connecting Ambon Falls (With Map Direction & English Caption)
This video is about a Walking trip to Pangil River Laguna and the way going to Ambon ambon falls. we started on a walking tour from Sulib Pangil Laguna's main National highway. This road is going to Pakil, Paete, Lumban, and Pagsanjan Laguna.
Pangil Laguna is about 65 kilometers away from Metro Manila and we traveled 3 hours to reach Siniloan public market via airconditioned bus from Cainta Robinson's bus terminal. Another 5 minutes travel via tricycle going to Sulib Laguna.
We travel from Cainta Robinson Mall terminal. There is public transport and you can take either an Aircon bus or an ordinary 12 seater jeepney. We took Aircon Bus for 130 pesos per head.
The Bus will travel from Antipolo, Teresa, Tanay, Pililla, Mabitac, to Siniloan public market. Then, 5 minutes tricycle ride going to Sulib. You can stay overnight at any resort or hotel mentioned in the video.
You need to be vaccinated first and you need to get an S-PASS. Here is the link to apply.

We started walking from the main national highway going to the Pangil River.
We prefer to walk a mile in this rural area because of the fresh air and we believe that walking enhances your immune system and develops better health for your heart.
From Sulib national hi-way, we passed by road to Galalan going to Sitio Maliliit, and major roads like Lakyan and cementary road before approaching Natividad Ext. which is the main passageway to Panquil River ECO Park's Ambon ambon falls.
Pangil River is a free-flow spring that falls from the mountain of Panquil Laguna. The start of the falls is Panquil River ECO Park that was designed for tourist attractions and you have to pay a considerable entrance fee. It's worth it considering the pleasure and relaxation not to mention its
main attraction like a wild forest, green surroundings, running water that is crystal clear and clean. Tourists and local residents enjoy swimming, bathing, and dipping in this river. A good relaxation, exercise, and brain unwinding place.
From the long stretch of Pangil River in Laguna, there are some hidden places where you can bathe, dip, and picnic for free and that is outside the Panquil River ECO Park.

Laguna Heritage Tour. Ft. Pagsanjan, Lumban, Cavinti, Longos, Pakil, Paete
After our tour of Southern part of Laguna (Magdalena, Luisiana, Cavinti) organized by the Advocates for Heritage Preservation, we decided to stay another day to explore the other heritage towns on this part of the province.
We spent the night at Monte Vista, one of the original hotels in Pagsanjan built during American time. The next morning, we explored the Pagsanjan Church and the old Municipio, which is now being turned into a museum.
We continued our drive to Lumban and visited its church and plaza, followed by a drive to Lake Caliraya and Lake Lumot in Cavinti, where we had coffee by the lake from Roa Coffee and had lunch of delicious Inasal.
We drove next to Longos in Kalayaan. It used to be a town, but now just a barangay of the newly created municipality of Kalayaan. The San Juan Bautista church is now fully restored after being damaged by many natural disasters.
Our tour continued in Pakil where we saw the newly-painted ceiling and the museum dedicated to Our Lady of Turumba, and finally to in Paete where we saw the original St. Christopher mural painting that was hidden for century by a similar painting by Dans.

Long weekends kaya natuloy pa rin yung long ride nmin papunta sa lugar nila Bro Pipz sa probinsya nila sa Pakil Laguna. Maganda pa yung panahon nung umalis kami ng Manila ng umaga dahil batid naman nmin na yung bagyong parating na si Uleyssis ay sa Miyerkules pa darating.
Masaya yung ride nmin nun. Magkakasama kami nila Pipz, Luke, Arseng, Juls C. and Jonnel papunta sa Pakil Laguna. Unang paramdam ng ulan sa amin ay nung nsa Pilillia na kami. Malakas na yung ulan kaya sumilong muna kami at nag patila sa ilalim ng Puno. Si Jonnel and bro Pipz nauna ng bumaba sa Mabitac.
Paki watch na lang mga bros and sis yung ginawa kong video editing nung nagpunta kami ng Pakil. Sobrang ganda and adventure yung pinuntahan namin lalo na nung umakyat kmi ng Mt. Ping-As. Sobrang nkaka amaze yung lugar talaga.
Shout-out pala kay sir Zaldy Zaragosa. Driver ng Emergency Vehicle ng Brgy. San Juan Taytay Rizal. Dahil empty na lahat ng ilaw nmin at inabutan pa kami ng dilim sa Cardona Rizal. Buti na lang na call namin yung attention nya nung sumigaw kami ng rescue. Hindi sya nag dalawang isip na tumulong para maihatid kami sa mas ligtas na lugar na may mga street lights na. Buti na lang pauwi na rin sya galing din sa pag responde sa kanilang lugar. Salute ulit sayo sir Zaldy.
