Trees To Slow Down Traffic in Innaloo (Perth)
At first glance, the tree looks like a classic planning fail — or at least a case of workers not following instructions.
But the City of Stirling insists it is one of many helping reduce traffic “rat-running” through Innaloo back streets and slows drivers through residential areas.
It is not shielded by bollards like its companion down the road; in fact, there seemed little to distinguish an intended purpose other than confounding motorists detouring through the back streets.
The project is targeting an area bound by Cedric Street, Oswald Street, Innaloo shopping centre and Odin Road, with about 40-plus “treatments” distributed throughout streets.
The aim of the project is to encourage drivers to adopt lower speeds, discourage non-local through traffic, reduce the speed and volume of traffic using the residential streets, and provide more walkable pedestrian and bike riding areas.

Sorrento Quay at Hillary's Boat Harbour is one the premier waterfront locations in Perth, Western Australia. It's home to many restaurants, cafes, pubs and specialty stores. It is one of the many great tourist attractions that Perth has to offer.
There is also a fantastic water playground for the kids, along with a min-carnival to entertain the young ones.

Hello again ,2 weeks later,sorry for that.
Great weather in Perth so another excursion ,this time to KINGS PARK,as you can see overlooking Perh.A huge place,I didnt realise they had a light show at night,but I'm having a look around anyway.
This is also a place to go when the wildflower season is happening too.
So hope you enjoy and yes I'm still doing videos,maybe not every week,unless I get heaps of footage, next video should have some drone footage.

Guildford WA
Guildford, WA, was Phil's temporary home during his R&R weeks when he was stuck in WA last year due to covid restrictions in Australia.
We stayed at the Rose and Crown Hotel and enjoyed a fabulous meal at the connected 1841 bar.
During Phil's visit, he discovered Padbury's cafe, a cafe across the road from the hotel and the home of Phils Favourite breakfast. A breakfast he returned to every day of his stay.
Guild ford has a great History, and the city of Swan council has done a great job at putting together three walks to showcase the area's history.
We may not have had time to follow the walks, but we enjoyed gleaning information from the boards around town.
Guildford was a lovely place to home base for the end of our WA break.
