The Enchanting Langkawi | 15 Things To Do In 4 Days 3 Nights | This Is Why We Keep Coming Back
Salam and hi guys, happy new year 2022. May this year give us new hope for the better Malaysia. Salam takziah for those affected by flood across Malaysia. Furthermore, with information on the newest Covid omicron variant still emerging, there are some hopes that 2022 could look a little brighter.
In my opinion, it’s important to take a step back, getting out and exploring interesting places could releases the stress you’ve been holding onto.
My video for this round will storytell you on our revisited trip to Langkawi via boat with an itinerary of 4 days 3 nights. I would personally recommend at least 4 days to truly have a feel and get into the groove of this island. Beyond the golden sands and luxurious hotel with pools, there’s are plenty attractions to discover which can make you amazed or take your breath away;

Here is my take on a 4 days in Langkawi itinerary:
Day 1
Depart from KL with 6 hrs of driving
Arrive Kuala Kedah Jetty at 4.30pm
Boarding to Langkawi at 5pm
Landed at Kuah Jetty around 7pm
Dropby Dataran Lang and heading to Pantai Cenang for a Dinner, wrap up at 9.30pm
Check in at Casa Fina for an overnight stay
Day 2
Check out Casa Fina at 8am
Breakfast at Roti Canai Sempoi Mat
Getting ready for Island Hopping at 9.3am, assemble at Jetty Teluk Baru
Lunch at Hafiz Rojak, 1pm
Check in Berjaya Langkawi Resort 2.30pm
Enjoying Berjaya’s swimming pool and private beach 5pm
Freshen up and Dinner at Halim Gulai Panas at 8pm
Day 3
Breakfast at hotel 7.30am

Day 02 - Ep 03 - It was quite interesting to know that Night Markets in Langkawi are setup throughout the week i.e. all seven days, however, each night of the week they are setup in different locations:

The timings of these night markets are from 6pm in the evening till 10pm in the night.
Because we were happen to be in Langkawi on Sunday, we got the chance to explore Padang Matsirat Night Market. The market is comprised of several stalls setup alongside the street and in the open lot. We saw both locals and tourists in great numbers sprawling over stalls/booth selling all kinds of pickles, biscuits & confectionaries, snacks, local food and juices, clothes & drapery, souvenir items, watches & sunglasses, wallets & handbags, artworks, DVDs, small gadgets, etc..
If you haven't tried the King of Fruits i.e. Durian, you can try these here :) and also the huge Jack Fruits (checkout the video) weighing, I think around ~ 10-15kg.
We tried a number of food items from these stalls (checkout the video), including:
Mee Goreng (RM 3) :- made with (spaghetti) noodles, (scrambled) eggs & (stir fried) vegetables, topped with green chillies in some black sauce (soya?) - didn't like the sweetness in it :(
Biji (RM 1 for 2 pcs) :- Deep fried crispy rolls & triangles with mashed potato filling - again sweetness killed it :(
Ayam Goreng (RM 2) :- Deep fried (lightly battered) chicken pieces - batter used for coating lacks taste. Won't recommend :(
Murtabak Ayam (RM 4) :- Fried flat bread with filling of mince chicken, scrambled eggs, chopped onion, chopped green chillies and some light spices - tastes good :) but lacks wow factor
Nasi Kukus (RM 5) :- Sticky coconut white rice, deep fried chicken piece, sambal sauce, spicy curry (made from chicken/beef stock), sliced cucumbers - Didn't like it at all :( specially the curry, although it looked quite similar to the curries made in Pakistan/India, but it tastes very differently in a negative way. May be it's because our taste bugs are not accustomed to such taste.
Cucur Bilis (RM 1 for 3 pcs) :- Spinach and bean sprouts fritters - Oil alert!
Doughnuts (RM 1.5) :- Best snack/desert among the ones we tried in this market. Different flavorful fillings of chocolate, blueberry, lemon cream, durian, date, strawberry, etc. Other doughnuts include plain ones and sugar coated, chicken floss coated and chocolate glazed. Very fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended :D
Dorayaki (RM 1 for 3 pcs) :- Small pan cakes with different varieties - Sri Kaya (coconut milk) and Nenas (pineapple) - Lacks taste and spongy :(
We weren't disappointed because in our experience you won't necessarily find all quality items in food streets, there are good and bad, and expect both. However, one recommendation is to always try fried, snacks, hot food items then and there; don't parcel them and carry along to eat them afterwards, because they will loose the warmth, freshness and become soggy.

Antara tarikan utama di Pulau Langkawi. Anda dapat saksikan keindahan pulau lagenda dari kawasan Gunung Machinchang.

Best Place to Visit in Langkawi | Langkawi Island | Eagle Square | Malaysia Travel Vlog 2022
Dataran Lang is one of Langkawi’s best known manmade attractions,
a large sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight. A sight that greets visitors to the island via ferry, the 12 metre-tall statue is one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments.
Located at the southeast corner of Pulau Langkawi, besides offering beautiful views of Kuah Bay, Dataran Lang has beautiful miniature fountains, terraces and bridges, making it the ideal place for those postcard-perfect holiday photos.
The square is a good place to watch ferries ply across the harbour but plan a trip here early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun is at its least intense.

In this travel vlog, we are getting on to the island-hopping tour to explore surrendering islands of Langkawi.
In Langkawi Island hopping package, we will go to 3 islands, Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maiden), Singa Besar Island (eagle feeding) and Beras Basah Island.
One of island visited in island hopping is Kilim Geoforest Park. Enjoy natural rain forest and it's sound during walk to the lake. You will reach the lake after 20 min walk. Some activities you can enjoy here is kayaking, swimming, riding solar powered boat or pedal powered.
Second island is Pulau Singa Besar. It is about 10 min from Tasik Dayang Bunting. Activities here are eagle feeding. A lot of eagle waiting for the boat to bring food. Eagles love chicken skin. 2 common eagle here are White Bellied and Brahminy Kite (Iconic Langkawi Eagle).
Third island is Beras Basah Island. Activities here are mainly snorkelling and watersport activities such as Jetski, Banana boat and etc. It is beautiful island with white sand beach
Langkawi is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30 km off the mainland coast of northwestern Malaysia.
