Exploring the magical Tsodilo Hills in Botswana
On Day 592 I was meant to cross the border from Botswana to Namibia, but when a local tipped my off on a sacred place, Tsodilo Hills, in the Kalahari desert, I changed my plans. I decided to stay another day in Botswana and exchange the motorcycle with some hiking boots - and it ended up being one of the most amazing experiences!
Tsodilo Hills is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and known as the louvre of the desert because of its extreme amount of rock art. Read more about it on UNESCO's official website:

Gorges of Botswana - Mogonye/Mmamotshwane Gorge
Gorge of Botswana (Mogonye Gorge)
#Mogonye is a small but beautiful village in Botswana just a few kilometres after #Boatle on your way from #Ramotswa. It is located at the south east of the country, which is about 47 kilometres from the capital city (Gaborone). There you will find #Mogonye_village. It is not just an ordinary village one can think of it is explicit and made up several gorges that mostly are ancestral sites.
#Mogonye_Gorge itself is a Very interesting site and a great spot for a hike up the gorge, lots of interesting stuff to see. My suggestion if you go there is to wear sturdy footwear; there are quite a lot of loose rocks on the pathway.

Gaborone - Driving out of town - Botswana
I took a drive on the A1 highway out of town. The road has undergone some upgrades recently which have definately improved its quality. The road is predominantly a dual carriage way on both sides. The road leads to the towns of Lobatse and further to South Africa in Mafikeng (road name changes in South Africa). The road also provides an off ramp to several villages and small towns such as Ramotswa, which also has a border into South Africa. I just wanted to take a look at some of the quality of the roads around.

A well known stop over in Gaborone, we checked it out for our selves.
We explore Mokolodi Nature Reserve, spend a night in the Kudu Cottage, spot some very elusive creatures, and have a superb breakfast at the Restaurant.

Katchikau Primary School Disable Unit - African Bush Camps Foundation
Kachikau Primary School Disability unit currently accommodates about 32 students with disabilities from the villages in Chobe, Botswana. The unit provides schooling, accommodation, and daily meals for the learners.
The school infrastructure was ill-equipped to support learners with special needs as it lacked basic infrastructure such a wheelchair ramps and paved walkways.
