10. Puno
Puno is a port city on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the Altiplano of Peru. Despite its picturesque hillside setting, the city itself is a ramshackle collection of mostly unfinished modern buildings. Its biggest attraction is as a departure point for the famous floating islands on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca.
9. Mancora
Once just an attractive roadside fishing port, Mancora is now the most trendy beach in Peru, attracting a surf crowd from around the globe. It’s a highly welcome and very enjoyable stopover when traveling along the north coast.
8. Trujillo
Trujillo is a moderately large city in Northwestern Peru, near the Pacific Coast. The city was founded in 1534 among 4 Chimu settlements to enable the Spanish to ally with them against the Incas. Trujillo is close to the pre-Columbian site of Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the ancient world and the beach resort of Huanchaco.
7. Nazca Desert
The Nazca Desert occupies a strip along the northern Pacific coast on a high arid plateau. The famous Nazca Lines are located between the towns of Nazca and Palpa. Created between 200 BC and 700 AD the figures range from simple lines to stylized spiders, monkeys, lizards and human figures.
6. Iquitos
Iquitos is a unique city in that it is the largest city in the world inaccessible by roads, leaving planes and boats as the primary ways of entrance. However, that doesn’t stop it from being one of the most popular places to visit in Peru.
5. Lima
As Peru’s capital and largest city, Lima is a sprawling metropolis constituting an architectural blend of pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern infrastructure. The city was founded in 1535 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro and offers a rich history as well as exceptional food, a vibrant culture and lively nightlife.
4. Sacred Valley
Once the heartland of the Inca Empire, The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a valley in the Andes, close to Cusco and the ancient city of Machu Picchu. The valley was appreciated by the Incas due to its special geographical and climatic qualities.
3. Arequipa
One of Peru’s most visited cities, Arequipa is surrounded by three picturesque volcanoes in the country’s Southern Coastal region. Arequipa embodies a rich mix of the indigenous and Spanish colonial cultures. Examples of Spanish colonial architecture can be found throughout the center of the city.

Often serving as a popular base to explore nearby famous ruins like Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco was the historic capital of the Inca Empire. Located in southeastern Peru, Cusco one of Peru’s most important tourist destinations.

Historia DE Motupe
Antes de la llegada de los españoles, la ciudad de Motupe era la capital del cacicazgo de Motux, vocablo que con el tiempo se transformó en el nombre actual.1 Según el historiador motupano Carlos del Castillo Niño su fundación española data del 5 de febrero de 1570. Durante el gobierno de Nicolás de Piérola, el 19 de septiembre de 1898 Motupe fue elevada a la categoría de Villa, y posteriormente, el 26 de octubre de 1955 consiguió la categoría de ciudad en el gobierno del presidente Manuel Odría mediante Ley N.° 12419.2

Cordoba city doesn’t get a huge number of international visitors in comparison to other more popular destinations, but it is located right in the middle of the country making it an ideal gateway for exploring much of Argentina. We recently spent a few days in the city, so in this video, we’re going to show you what you can do with 3 days in Cordoba.
Together we’ll explore the colonial architecture, we’ll walk through Jesuit ruins that once lay forgotten beneath the city, we’ll explore the oldest university in the country, stumble upon beautiful courtyards in full bloom, and we’ll also do our fair share of cafe and restaurant hopping.

Exploring Moyobamba
Moyobamba (Spanish pronunciation: [moʝoˈβamba]) or Muyupampa (Quechua muyu circle, pampa large plain, circle plain) is the capital city of the San Martín Region in northern Peru. Called Santiago of eight valleys of Moyobamba or Maynas capital. There are 50,073 inhabitants, according to the 2017 census.[2] Some 3,500 species of orchids are native to the area, which has led to the city's nickname of The City of Orchids. The city is the capital of both Moyobamba Province and Moyobamba District.
The city is linked by road with Tarapoto to the southeast, Rioja to the west and Bagua to the northwest. Roads connect Moyobamba to the Pacific coast by way of Bagua and Olmos to the north and Cajamarca to the southwest.

Herkese selamlar. Seyahatime Güney Amerika'da devam ediyorum. Bu videoda sizlerle, Ekvador'un en aktif yanardağlarından biri olan Tungurahua volkanına tırmanışımı paylaşacağım. 5016 metre rakımda olan ve 1999 yılından beri neredeyse her yıl patlayan bu yanardağ, Ekvadorda en merak ettiğim yerlerden biriydi. Yürüyüşüme Banos şehrinde başladım ve yanardağın kraterine kadar yürüdüm. Yürüyüş 2 gün sürdü. İlk gün Banos şehrinden Refugio denilen konaklayacağım yere yürüdüm. Burada konaklamak için 15 Dolar ödedim. Çadır kurmak yasak. O yüzden yanardağa tırmanacak olanlar burada kalmak zorunda. İkinci gün erken saatlerde yürüyüşüme başladım ve kratere çıktım. Son 500 metre oldukça zorlu ve tehlikeliydi. Hayatımın en ekstrem anlarını yaşadım desem abartmış olmam çünkü birçok kez kendimi tehlikenin içinde buldum (çıkarken ve inerken). Kratere çıktığımda bastığım toprağın sıcacık olduğunu ve her yerden duman çıktığını farkettim. Canlı bir şeyin üzerindeydim. Hayatımda gördüğüm en ilginç ve güzel yapılardan birini görmüş oldum tırmanışımla birlikte. Ve de manzaram müthişti. Chimborazo Dağının zirvesini çok net görebiliyordum. Kraterin orada ilginç şeyler de gördüm. Videoda gösterip anlatıyorum. Çok keyif aldığım bir gün oldu.

My Home in Huanchaco, Peru
Steve LePoidevin and his wife, Nancy, have lived in the Peruvian beach town of Huanchaco for the last few years. After almost a decade in Asia, they came back to this side of the world in 2016 and spent a year in the southern colonial city of Arequipa before moving to the north coast of Peru.
In this brief video, Steve takes you on a quick tour of their small studio apartment as well as that of his downstairs neighbor. After living in larger spaces for several years, they recently moved into a small rooftop unit to try out life in a “tiny home”.
