FIRST IMPRESSIONS of El Chaltén + Arriving in the TREKKING CAPITAL of Patagonia, Argentina
We're off to El Chaltén! In this episode, we'll say goodbye to El Calafate where we got to witness countless glaciers including the world-famous Perito Moreno, and we'll continue to another popular destination in Patagonia. The town of El Chaltén is located inside Los Glaciares National Park and it is the trekking capital of Argentina. You come to this destination to hike and enjoy the raw, natural beauty of the place. We made the journey from El Calafate to El Chaltén by bus (roughly 3.5 hours) and it was very scenic! Once we got settled in the hotel, we explored a bit of the town and also did an easy sunset hike to Mirador De Los Condores which is at the entrance of the town and offers really nice views of El Chalten. Stay tuned for the next few episodes for some epic trekking adventures!

Ushuaia en Invierno es una Locura!!! Comenzamos nuestro recorrido por Tierra del Fuego con muchisima nieve.

Bajamos del avión , salimos del aeropuerto y nunca pensamos que Ushuaia en invierno nos haría emocionar desde el principio.
.
La ciudad de Ushuaia nos recibió con una nevada increíble que ya nos hizo perder bastante tiempo en el aeropuerto, realmente no queríamos arrancar para el hotel , fue hermoso!!
.
Previamente a llegar al Arakur, hotel donde nos ibamos a alojar , pasamos a alquilar el equipo de nieve por Popper Store , que nos iba a acompañar todo el viaje, la ropa es clave!
.
Tambien llenamos un poco el estomago en el ahumadero de Ushuaia con algunas cosas ricas.
.
Al siguiente día comenzamos la mañana disfrutando de paisajes únicos al subir al cerro Alarken donde se encuentra el mismo hotel Arakur.

Ranch Day at Estancia NIBEPO AIKE in Patagonia ???? | Day Trip from El Calafate, Argentina
Hello and greetings from Patagonia! In today’s video, we’re going to be visiting Estancia Nibepo Aike, which is located within Los Glaciares National Park. This is one of the many excursions you can do from the town of El Calafate, and it’s a nice way to enjoy a day in the countryside, learn about the inner workings of an estancia, and enjoy a traditional barbecue while you’re at it. So let’s kick off another adventure!
The estancia Nibepo Aike was founded by Santiago Peso, a Croatian immigrant who arrived in Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century. He settled in an area which today sits inside Los Glaciares National Park, where he raised sheep and cattle.
Originally, the estancia was named La Jerónima, but when Santiago fell ill with tuberculosis and eventually passed away, his wife renamed the estancia in honour of their 3 daughters. Their nicknames were Niní, Bebe, y Porota, so by grabbing the first 2 letters from each name, they got Nibepo, and then Aike which means place in the Tehuelche language. Estancia Nibepo Aike - that’s the name.
During our afternoon visit to Estancia Nibepo Aike, we got to enjoy an afternoon tea, walk along the shores of Lago Argentino, go on a short hike for panoramic views of the estancia, attend a sheep-sheering demonstration, and then enjoy a Patagonian barbecue. It was nice to spend a relaxed afternoon out in the countryside, and next time, we'll definitely opt for an overnight stay!

Travelling to BUENOS AIRES: 15+ Hour Overnight Bus Ride in ARGENTINA + Eating DELICIOUS BURGERS!
Come join us as we're travelling to Buenos Aires, Argentina. After an amazing trip around Patagonia it was time to return to the Buenos Aires by bus as we endured a 15 hour overnight bus ride from Las Grutas. Upon arriving we settle into our new airbnb apartment and grab a delicious burger in Buenos Aires. We haven't had a burger that juicy and delicious in a long time and to find one in Buenos Aires was a real bonus. When it comes to travel in Argentina it appears all roads do eventually lead back to Buenos Aires. Our plan is just to spend a few days here and pick-up a special guest along the way. Afterwards we'll be leaving Buenos Aires to head to Cordoba and Mendoza for the first time. We're so excited to continue our travels here in Argentina and we hope you'll join us for those future vlogs. Please keep in mind these episodes were filmed a little while ago and not recently.

Travelling to BUENOS AIRES: 15+ Hour Overnight Bus Ride in ARGENTINA + Eating DELICIOUS BURGERS!:
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.
