Day trips from Rome: Assisi
The beautiful town Assisi in Umbria, a 2h 19 min drive from Rome, where you can admire the gorgeous basilicas of San Francesco and Santa Chiara. The town is full of boutiques and little shops with religious items, icons and leather gadget. Assisi has a very strong religious tradition. If you don't mind the 2h drive, I strongly suggest this day trip from Rome.

SAN VITO ROMANO
29 Maggio 2022 - A volte non serve fuggire lontano per star bene. Per chi vive a Roma e necessita di una passeggiata nella frescura calma e frizzante che la città ti nega, basta fare una gita fuori porta e arrivare a San Vito Romano, a un'oretta dalla metropoli.
Siamo arrivati verso l'ora di pranzo, ma nonostante questo ci ha accolto un brezza profumata e un antico borgo sorridente.
A San Vito Romano passeggiare è un piacere, con la sua alternanza di meravigliosi passaggi tra oscuri anfratti tra le case e improvvisi affacci su strapiombi mozzafiato.
Se ami la fotografia, vorresti impararla o la pittura en plein air, San Vito Potrebbe essere il posto giusto.
