TOP THINGS TO DO IN MEXICO - VISIT PUEBLA - THE CITY OF 1000 CHURCHES

Mexico is one of the NUMBER 1 TOURIST DESTINATION for tourists around the world. There is just so much to see, soo many amazing cities to visit.

Out of all the cities that we visited in Mexico, Puebla was my favorite one, we had an amazing time there. This incredible city holds the record for the most churches and chappals per capita of any other city in the world. At times it felt like there was a church literally in every block as we walked down the street.

The best part about it is that they are all unique, built at different points over the 400-plus years since the spanish arrived in Mexico and each built with different styles, so it was hard to choose the best ones.

We spent 4 months traveling around Mexico and put together this series of videos reviewing the TOP CITIES TO VISIT and the TOP THINGS TO DO in each one of them.

Come with us and explore!

10 Places to Visit in MEXICO ???????? | Day of the Dead

Mexico's Day of the Dead, or 'Día de los Muertos,' is a profound celebration that elegantly blends ancient traditions with modern culture.

In this video we will take you through 10 Places to Visit in Mexico during the Day of the Dead Celebrations.

Beyond the vibrant marigolds, colorful skulls, and intricate altars, there is a profound spiritual significance rooted in pre-Hispanic beliefs about death and the afterlife.

It’s a time to celebrate life while remembering those who have died, rejecting the traditional concept of mourning, and instead accepting death as a natural part of the human experience.

OAXACA MARKET & trying Oaxaca food - Ocotlan de Morelos | Food and Travel Channel | Oaxaca, Mexico

Subscribe for more food and travel videos:
Chasing a Plate is in Oaxaca, Mexico! Every Friday, the town of Ocotlan de Morelos holds its tianguis or open aired market where people come in from the rural areas and surrounding countryside to sell their wares. We catch a bus from Oaxaca (details below) direct to Ocotlan market (20 pesos/$1USD) to check it out.

Ocotlan market is famous for a few different kinds of foods. Empanada de amarillo oaxaca which is a giant tortilla that is folded in half and filled with amarillo mole, nieves or ices, barbacoa chivo and tejate, a pre-Hispanic drink made from corn, cacao and the pip of the mamey fruit. We manage to sample all of Octolan market's specialties!

Tejate: 7 peso/$0.40USD
Empanada de amarillo: 25 peso/$1.30USD
Nieves: 20 peso/$1USD
Barbacoa chivo meal: 100 peso/$5USD

Where to catch the bus: (the pin for the station is incorrect on this map. Instead of turning left to head down to the pin, turn right and head up the road).

What an amazing day at Ocotlan Market Mexico!

We hope we've inspired you to eat and explore like a traveler, not a tourist.

Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotlan I Tlaxcala, Mexico 2023

#catholic #tlaxcala #mexico

This channel is to encourage everyone to Pray the HOLY ROSARY: There is always a miracle if we are faithful to pray to our Blessed Mother. We need her intercession especially in these trying times. God gave us a mother that we can ask and beg for help. Help me to spread the power of prayer. God Bless you all.

May 13 marks the anniversary of the first of six apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children of Fátima, Portugal. Lucia dos Santos (aged 9) and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto (aged 8 and 6, respectively) were tending sheep in central Portugal in 1917 when they had a vision of a woman surrounded by light who identified herself as the Lady of the Rosary. She exhorted them to pray the rosary for world peace and, over the course of her six apparitions, gave the children three secrets. She promised a miracle in October, and on the 13th of that month a crowd of perhaps 70,000 people witnessed a miraculous solar phenomenon, in which the Sun appeared to fall toward Earth. After initially questioning the authenticity of the children's visions, the Vatican accepted them as appearances of the Virgin Mary (Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fátima), and Fátima became the location of one of the greatest Marian shrines in the world, visited by thousands of pilgrims each year.

Although Lucia dos Santos would later become a Carmelite nun and live to the age of 97, Francisco and Jacinta Marto died as children as a result of the influenza pandemic of 1918–19. The pious siblings were beatified in 2000 by Pope John Paul II, making them the youngest non-martyred children to be beatified in the history of the Roman Catholic Church. They were canonized as saints by Pope Francis in 2017 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of their visions.
