Dalaguete is a first class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. The town Dalaguete is popularly known as the vegetable basket of Cebu. The mountain barangays are cold and Mantalongon is considered the Little Baguio of Cebu. Crops and fresh vegetables are distributed in several towns of Cebu. This place is also well-known for it's beautiful mountains with breath taking view that's why many tourist got interest to visit this place. One of the most popular attraction here is the Osmena Peak but i will visit that next time. Here's the list of tourist attarction that i have visited last 2017:
1. Kandungaw Peak - with tour guide
2. Kandungaw Cave - with tour guide
3. Casino Peak - with tour guide
4. Maloray Rice Terraces
5. Strawberry Farm
6. Eagle's Cave - with tour guide
How to get there:
You can take a ceres bus from south bus terminal ask the driver to drop you off to Dalaguete proper. Then once you arrive there, there's plenty of motorbike or habal- habal that you can ride to take you to your destination. In my case, i made a good negotiation with one motorbike driver it's like all in one package he was our driver and tour guide at the same time so it was very convenient for us. I just gave the driver an extra tip and we treat him for free lunch as well.
Overall, i had a wonderful time in Dalaguete. I highly recommend you guys to visit the place especially for those who are nature love, adventure seeker and those love hiking and trekking.
You should put on your top list the Kandungaw peak, the view was so amazing, spectacular view and beautiful scenery of nature, it was so refreshing i you could breath fresh air once your on top it feels like heaven...Please enjoy watching!

WHERE THE FRESHWATER MEETS THE SEA
Coldwater springs underneath the basin, creating a huge pool. However, during high tides, the seawater which is just a few meters away meets the freshwater. This is called an estuary. Both children and adults can enjoy the cold spring because the water is not too deep. Just be vigilant with your little ones though. The bluish-green color is because of the mossy bottom and some sand particles from the connected sea. If you want to take a dip in colder water, wait for the low tide since the pool is mostly freshwater. If you’re up for warmer water, high tide is the best time to soak because of the seawater.

This is a video tourist guide to the town Dalaguete in southern Cebu Philippines. Tourist spots in Dalaguete include Osmeña Peak, Obong Springs and St. William de Aquitane Parish Church.
Campoquino Bay Resort (Sipalay, Philippines) & Obong Beach Resort (Hinobaan, Philippines) - Ep.6
Spent 2 nights at 2 different beach resorts. Was definitely an experience. The first night was very loud with all the different huts singing different karaoke songs. Good thing we were in the rooms a little further away as it was something we weren’t used to. Haha. The 2nd night we stayed at a different resort as we felt the money we were paying just wasn’t worth it as it was missing a lot of things for the price. Air conditioner was nice though as we didn’t have it at the 2nd place.
All in all we had a great time.

Osmeña Peak | Obong Spring - Dalaguete, Cebu
• Osmeña Peak is said to be one of the highest points in the island of Cebu, a province in the Philippines. Standing 1,013 meters above sea level, this stunning site offers a dramatic view of jagged cliffs with a view of the sea in the distance. But instead of rolling curved mounds, the hills here have sharp protruding peaks. Set amidst the limestone cliffs, the hills resemble a field of gigantic green Hershey’s Kisses and also like Toblerone.
• Obong Spring Dubbed as “Tubigan” by Dalaguetnons, this natural beauty is said to bring pride to this humble village. The unperturbed flowing of cold water from spring is surrounded by large rocks, which are oftentimes used as diving platforms by few brave swimmers. Some of the rather adventurous visitors take off from the century-old dalakit trees that are standing beside the pool.

You can ride a bus from Southbus Terminal in Cebu City going to Dalaguete Cebu.
