[PL] Odwiedzamy Nysę - bardzo ciekawe miasto w południowej Polsce. Nysa istnieje już od X wieku, dlatego też mimo zniszczeń wojennych zachowała interesujące zabytki, szczególnie piękne kamieniczki na rynku, ratusz z charakterystyczną wieżą oraz kościół z oddzielnym budynkiem dzwonnicy.

Deshalb die Stadt - trotz der Kriegsschäden - has sehr interessante historische Gebäude, besonders schöne Mietshäuser auf dem Marktplatz, Rathaus mit einem charakteristischen Turm und eine Kirche mit einem separaten Glockenturm.

Z kart historii – Nysa i jej dzieje
Położone nad Nysą Kłodzką miasto ma się czym pochwalić. To jedno z najstarszych miast na Śląsku, którego dzieje sięgają X stulecia. Już w tym czasie mogła tu istnieć spora osada, która z czasem przekształciła się w ośrodek miejski o ogromnym znaczeniu politycznym i gospodarczym. Znaczenie Nysy zwiększyło się w czasach księcia Bolesława I Wysokiego, który swemu synowi ofiarował kasztelanię otmuchowską. Jarosław, bo o nim mowa, był biskupem wrocławskim, w związku z czym w testamencie Nysę i okoliczne wsie zapisał w spadku swoim następcom. W ten oto sposób osada nad Nysą Kłodzką staje się siedzibą biskupów wrocławskich oraz ważną częścią należącego do nich księstwa nysko-otmuchowskiego. Z czasem Nysa stała się stolicą tego księstwa, a że jej znaczenie rosło, zaczęto ją określać mianem „Śląskiego Rzymu”. Już w XII wieku miasto stało się ważnym ośrodkiem życia naukowego, a działająca tu szkoła parafialna szybko przekształciła się w znane i szanowane gimnazjum. Dobrze rozwijała się też lokalna gospodarka, na co istotny wpływ miała bliskość ważnych szlaków handlowych. W XVI wieku do miasta przenoszą się biskupi wrocławscy, a Nysa oficjalnie zostaje ich rezydencją. Dzięki nim na terenie miasta powstaje wiele nowych budowli sakralnych oraz słynna fontanna Trytona, wzorowana na rzymskiej Fontana del Tritone. Powstaje też kolegium jezuickie oraz system umocnień, które mają zapewniać bezpieczeństwo wszystkim mieszkańcom miasta. W połowie XVIII wieku, gdy Nysa staje się częścią Prus, następuje rozbudowa umocnień, a samo miasto staje się twierdzą. Do dziś, mimo burzliwych wydarzeń z XIX i XX wieku, na terenie miasta można się spotkać z wieloma cennymi pamiątkami, które przypominają nam o czasach świetności Nysy.

Well hello and welcome to Warszawa. This week we are exploring the Polish capital. We've already been here a few days and it has been amazing. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.
We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.

Kłodzko (pronounced Kwotsko [ˈkwɔt͡skɔ] (listen); Czech: Kladsko; German: Glatz; Latin: Glacio) is a historic town in south-western Poland, in the region of Lower Silesia. It is situated in the centre of the Kłodzko Valley, on the Eastern Neisse river.
Kłodzko is the seat of Kłodzko County (and of the rural Gmina Kłodzko, although the town itself is a separate urban gmina), and is situated in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. With 26,845 inhabitants (2019), Kłodzko is the main commercial centre as well as an important transport and tourist node for the area.
For its historical monuments it is sometimes referred to as Little Prague (Polish: Mała Praga, German: Klein-Prag).[2] Initially established as a settlement in the 10th century, it is one of the oldest towns in Poland, having been granted city rights in 1233. Culturally and traditionally a part of Bohemia, administratively it has been a part of Silesia since 1763.

Market square Rynek, Nysa ???????? #nysa #poland #europe
The market square, where we can see a very nicely renovated Town Scales House from 1604 (B; GPS: 50.473210, 17.332751), an interesting town hall from the 14th century with a very high tower (which can be reached by a lift - the price is 5 PLN) and of course the monumental Basilica of St. James and St. Agnes, whose interiors look really amazing on a sunny day, when the sun's rays penetrate the windows inside. An interesting fact is that the church has one of the most sloping roofs in Europe. Next to the church there is a belfry, never completed (it was supposed to have a much higher height). Inside, there is the St. James Treasury, a collection of goldsmiths' masterpieces.
