After spending a night at a stealth boondocking location near Kuivaniemi, Finland, we drive down to Oulu and explore the city a little bit as well as the nearby beach. Then it is off to the multilingual city of Vaasa, not before dumping the cassette toilet and eating at Hesburger, Finland's top hamburger chain.

Nykarleby, a city with 400 years of history in 2020.
Nykarleby- From A Past Time to the Modern City, a story about a town in Finland, founded by the King of Sweden in 1620, a time when Finland was a part of Sweden for over 600 years.
In 2020 this little city celebrates its 400 years since it was founded, it has lived thru times of war, a devastating city fire that almost wiped out all the city, but like Fenix, it came back, rebuilt and in modern times, enlarged its geographical area with the surrounding municipality’s.With modern healthcare, daycare, a large care system for old citizens and people with disabilities.
It has a large school center, with a complete level of education, from primary school to high school education.
It´s today a modern city, a city that in later years, nationally, has been voted as, “the most contented place in Finland”, “a happy city”.
Jyväskylä City Center Summer Walk 2022 - the Largest City in the Finnish Lakeland
(4K) Jyväskylä is located on the northern coast of Lake Päijänne 150 km north-east from Tampere. It is by far the largest city in the Central Finland region. It has 142 000 inhabitants (7th biggest in Finland). The city is surrounded by lakes and the city center is located on the shore of lake Jyväsjärvi.
This walk has two parts; during the day and night. The day walk covers the city center and the night walk covers the lakeside promenade in Lutakko Marina area.

Finland Small City Walks: Wealthy Enclave City Kauniainen
Kauniainen (Swedish: Grankulla) is a relatively small city (approx. 9000 inhabitants) completely surrounded by the City of Espoo. Kauniainen was founded by a corporation in 1906, AB Grankulla. It appeared originally as a small private villa community, when a few investors bought a large plot of land and began splitting and selling it for villas, and building infrastructure. The beautiful Villa plots were quite large and built by the best Finnish architects. Today, Kauniainen has the lowest tax percent of all the cities in Finland.
